Clean & Green: 101 Hints and Tips for a More Eco-Friendly Home

Really enjoying this book and use it often, I bought the white vinegar and bicarb and a few other things from Amazon in bulk, very pleased to be doing something for the environment and a healthier home, still getting good cleaning results with the methods in this book.

Fantastic book full of useful information.

Filled with so many alternatives that are better for you, your home and the environment, and thankfully Nancy explains what the ingredients actually do and that’s why she uses them, she also gives you the correct name for the products. The only reason I’ve not given it a full five stars is that I’m not sure the book binding in itself is going to stand the test of time, and along one of the edges it’s as if someone has taken a nail file to the edge, not ideal, but the pages with the ‘recipes’ are all in good order. Overall more than happy and can’t wait to use more of the recipes once I get the items needed.

Wow - just tried a couple of the recipes so far - the floor cleaner is fab but the wood polish cleaner is phenomenal - I had recently used an essential oil cleaner, which is heavily promoted on facebook & the name reminds me of The Avengers & it’s very expensive & although nice I wasn’t blown away by it. So tried Nancy’s recipe & oh my giddy aunt, I was blown away by it!! Sad to be so excited by a good cleaner 🤦🏽‍♀️ but finding ones that don’t set off my asthma & don’t add to ruining the planet, & not being expensive, whilst still being a good product is hard!! But I will now try lots of others in this book & will no doubt look at her other books. Fabulous!!!

So many useful and eco friendly cleaning tips that actually work! Mixing my own cleaning products now and they work so much better than toxic chemicals. Bought the green bleach, citric acid and glass bottles from Amazon too - easy to get started.

Brilliant book Well worth every penny

Mum was given a set of these books and she had told me how the author used more natural ingredients to use within her household which are more natural and prevents harmful chemicals entering the food chain. Ideal for anyone who is concerned about the environment. Even if we all did one thing out of the book then surely this would help. Great book easy to follow some of the items you may have to purchase on Amazon as not all local shops sell the items and are more of a specialist/online supplier

Very useful book full of "recipes" for environmentally friendly cleaning and lots of great ideas and hints.

Perfect for hints and tips to live a kinder life. Really all is so much simpler and friendlier to our environment than the shelves and shelves of chemicals we think we need.

I love the eco friendly recipes in this book.

Her book is amazing, she always have easy to understand explanatons to the products and methods. The only thing I'd say is that certain things are called differently (e.g. rubbing alcohol) it'd be great to have a more basic description, eg.g. 70% alcohol) also maybe some links to certain products or recommendations.

Bought as a Christmas present but think this will be well received by the recipient.
