It's good, but needs a big screen to read it
I enjoyed the book, but couldn't read it on my Kindle, I had to read it on the iPad to be able to read all the text. I enjoyed more of Ser Dunk and Egg, and the illustrations are good.

Low key but good.
I read this on the kindle. I'd never read a graphic novel before. And honestly, I'd kind of gotten bored of waiting for Martin to bring out further books. So I didn't have any expectations when I read this. And I'm glad I bought it and the one before it. The artwork was well done. The stories were enjoyable without being over the top. More importantly, I enjoyed the kindle format for reading a graphic novel. The ability to double tap to read each pane individually brought the artwork/story forward and made it... more. I look forward to more stories of Dunk and Egg.

A quick fix of GRRM.
The Sworn Sword is the sequel to The Hedge Knight graphic novella set in Westeros 100 years before the events of the Song of Ice and Fire books of GRRM. The story follows the main characters Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg into the Reach, which plagued by a terrible drought, as they serve a beggared lord whose house is on the brink of ruin. For those of us who can’t get enough of this world it is a quick fix until Mr. Martin decides to bless us with more original content. The story is somewhat lacking, but at least with this medium you don’t have to sink days into it only to come out disappointed. The artwork is of high quality but the story was quite lacking at not even particularly exciting, nor were the characters very convincing. If you really cannot wait, try this.

Comic book format
I am must be missing something obvious here as I seem to have bought a comic, and not a novel at all??????? Maybe everyone is chuckling away at my stupidity, but I grew out of comics 50 years ago, and can't see an alternative version.

Quality
Short story which is a big change from the long fire and ice series which actually helps, it just narrows down the inbetween events waffling Martin can go into. Really enjoyed this book highly recommended

Awesome
The story of dunk and egg continues as they left Ashford Meadow after all the chaos. A new story set in a different part of seven kingdom with 2 of our main characters and few new and interesting characters. I must say sometimes the extended stories of any famous series can be a bit boring but GRRM has done a full justice with them. They are filled with interesting references of bigger events, characters and they themselves have very important roles in the main series with all kind of turn and twists. Normally the graphical adaptation are not so apt but this along with the first part "The Hedge Knight" is noway lesser than the actual novella. The artwork is also quite appealing. Now I am eagrly waiting for the graphical version of 3rd part "The Mystery Knight" which is set to be released in July, 2017
