A piece of artwork in the blade world
It is very much a kukri the Damascus layers are clearly visible and detailed. The blades edged is scary sharp. The balance is good the handle flares out pretty well it's comfortable in the hand even in reverse grip. Functionality is amazing and the blade is thick mine was straight and had good edge right out the box. HOWEVER, I DID NOTICE RUST ON THE BLADE. Now I understand that this might be considered a budget friendly knife however I would have thought that it being a Damascus layered blade it would take more time to rust. But it's a feicre kukri and will go through about anything. It's a beast of blade. Other than the little bit of rusting on the blade. Well done 👍 anyone look for a first time kukri you might actually consider this one.

The Gurkhas would approve
It’s friggin cold in Colorado, so I haven’t had the chance to take it camping yet. That being said, this is a BEAUTIFUL knife! Sharp enough to shave hair off my arm and held an edge when I whacked some fire wood in my back yard. My preliminary thought is that she is definitely worth the money! The only draw back is the grip. The finger groves give good grip for average to large hands. If you think your hands are on the smaller side you may want to look at a different option, grip wise

Very good blade
I say the knife is pretty solid but the knife holder was a not that good. The weight and color were good. The size is not to bad and the grip is good for my hands. The cutting ability is good but I hit a rock and chipped it but other than that it’s pretty good.

Mine is truly a beautiful work of art
5 stars from me. When i saw it came I was too excited. I love kukris. This is my fourth technically 5th cause I gave one away to someone wanted one. Never had a Damascus one, I have a Damascus dagger and karambit. I just find Damascus fascinating. It does come with an oil coating, but anyone that knows Damascus knows the high carbon steel is prone to rust. Just wipe it off but if it’s kept completely dry for a period of time especially in a humid environment, it, will, rust. These metals and blades require care. The pattern on mine I think is just amazing. I have tried to use it, weight feels good, handle feels good in the hand, the weight, the swinging, balance, and it held up. Came with a good edge and bevel, no chips or anything and i was using it on decently hard wood. I quit after so long cause I just felt bad for swinging it cause how much I love it. For the money yes definitely worth it. Strong, dependable, good forge work and a work of art. Just requires a little extra love so she won’t rust

Beautiful Damascus steel!
This is a WAY COOL looking knife! My Scout troop ultimately had one like this in their pancake breakfast raffle.

Better than expected.
As many knives, like this, the sheath is kind of cheap, but let’s be honest, The sheath does not matter as much as the knife. When I first picked it up, I was skeptical, so I brought it outside chopped at a few branches, then smacked it on a 2 x 4 a couple times as you see in the photo, and the blade cut better than expected. The edge did not roll. It stayed sharp so for first impressions I would absolutely recommend it.

Lovely blade, just not necessarily perfect...
Pros: Pretty beautiful blade... nice Damascus pattern... reasonably sharp and recently oiled... came with a belt attaching sheath... Cons: Handle is too long by 1 inch to 1.5 inches... slight warp and bend in the blade... so not perfectly straight.. slight glinting after using it to cut easy materials... maybe temper wasn't perfect??? The sheath really doesn't hold the Kukri in securely... dont have to unfasten either straps to release it from the sheath... (after sharpening it further, i know am concerned with the sheath not holding it as secure as should be...) Other notes: From Hilt to Tip, it measures 15 3/8 inches... the blade itself measures 10 1/2 inches... Also the pummel and guard are Damascus (peened) with a solid wood handle and a bit of metal bands inlayed at both ends of the handle for decor... As is rate it 3 stars... if it were actually straight, with a shorter handle and fully sharpened, could have been a 4 or 5 star blade...

excellent quality, real patternweld metal. wood of handle was unsealed, but that was easily resolved with some melted beeswax. a great utility knife, keeps its edge well

Solid blade, was able to sharpen it to a Razer's edge and hack away at wood with no edge damage . Only issue was the Damascus pattern is kinda faded on a few small places I dunno if it needs a new acid etch or if it means it's some kinda fake printed pattern but other than that a good knife

This is a nice knife, but the ad says it came sharpened and it is nowhere even close to sharpened. There is also a black mark right on the tip where the metal was burned, as well as a chip out of the tip.

Sooo disappointed!!! It’s NOT like the picture!! The handle isn’t the same colour it’s nearly whitish with a blue spot on it I can’t get out and it’s not the same wood as the picture!!!! Oh and the thread on the sheath IS BLACK AND PLASTIC NOT LEATHER LIKE THE PICTURE! What shame! Had high hopes and was gonna buy two more but so disappointed...and it was a gift for someone!!

For all of those people that are saying this is just a print on replica you name it everyone of those people are completely wrong this is the top of the line metal sharper than a razor blade and if you want it sharper you can get it to that point. I have put some pictures to show you angles of the blade all in all displayed is amazing. The case on the other hand is a little bit on the cheap side but for the blade that’s why I bought it I think I’m gonna go buy another one with a different held this is real Damascus metal not fake.
