You can get this machine for far less from the same factory with a different brand label slapped on it. The main issue is the machining on the motor shaft is the worst I've ever seen on anything. As a result grinding discs never run true which causes uneven wear. The gully pin system is also completely useless design wise because it's all locked off from underneath and won't even take a standard right angle Alan key without you having to grind off about 15mm of Alan key. The motor is virging on the inadequate and after a couple of saw blades you'd b best check it's temperature before carrying on. The machine bed travel mechanisms are far from smooth regardless of how much cleaning and lubricant you give them. Despite all this low quality parts, poor craftsmenship and terrible design it does function albeit in a unpleasant operating experience. When the motor Fry's I'll replace it with whichever brand label has the lowest price. Finest German engineering this definitely is not.

Does the job ok.

Very useful device for sharpening saw blades; however, with a bit of alteration, it might be possible to get it to sharpen router bits.
