In the duplex automatic or manual? Can it scan both sides at one pass, or you need to flip sides?

Amazing bit of kit. One pass. Since my upgrade to OSX 11 not able to use it with apple products. No drivers from Canon. It also takes a few sheets which you push into the from grip and it takes them one at a time.

it it possible to scan envelopes such as C5 or DL 10 size?

Although I haven’t tried it I see no reason why not. They take business cards so the thickness should be no problem. I hope this helps. By the way, I have had many a flatbed scanner but having one that scans both sides simultaneously has made it my most favourite.
