Exo Terra Gecko Cave, Medium

Good quality. Bought to use as a moist hide but my sons Leopard Gecko has decided it's his new toilet... Good size for juvenile. I think the large may be better for adult Leopard Geckos. Photo is go size ref. Gecko is a few months old.

We had a different Exo Terra hide from day one, but bought this one to use as a moist hide when our leopard gecko was about to shed. It arrived quickly, we put moist moss in and when the gecko did shed he spent a lot of time in there. It comes in two parts, a base and a cave-like upper part. Our gecko is around 4 months old, so quite young still but had absolutely no trouble getting in even though the opening isn't level with the ground. Very happy with this purchase.

Arrived quick and in perfect shape! I bought this because I just hate having to use plastic tubs for a moist hide. I think using the plastic tubs looks, cheap and tacky. So I bought this Gecko Cave to create a natural looking hide, and it's just what I wanted! I threw out my plastic container and put this in and it look's great! I have two sub adult Leopard Gecko's and this cave is a bit small for both, so I had to keep one container in. The medium size is great for babys - sub adult geckos but I would recommend the Large if you have the space for it and you're gecko's are bigger. Although saying that, this might be good for even a adult single gecko!

The first humid hide my leopard gecko has actually used, so I'd say it has his seal of approval.

There is nothing better than this. I use it for a leopard gecko. I bought the medium and it was perfect for my 20 gallon tank. It's beautiful and I love how the top comes off. I buy only hides that have an easily removable top so I can get to the leopard gecko anytime I need to. I put misted moss inside as a 'spa' for the gecko to help with shedding. Update: I decided this works better as my warm/dry hide on the warm side of my tank, and to get the hide warmer, I decided not to use the bottom. It works perfectly for that. I also decided to use paper towels instead of moss. My leopard gecko loves this. NOTE: The texture is smooth, but my leopard gecko has no trouble climbing on top of it.

I'm very happy with this as is my female leapard gecko. It would be too small for a larger male but the female is always using it.
