What are the bands? And can the trick be repeated as many times after removing the coin once the trick has been done? Thanks

The bands are spares. The band wraps around the edge of the coin and holds it together. They allow it to fold and spring back into shape. They supply spares as these are quite thin and snap from time to time. The trick can be used many times... It's quite easy to remove from the bottle.

Is the coin magnetic?

No. There's a tiny elastic band around the coin holding the two halves together.

What age is this suitable for...6?

Just about....It's a coin size item so it is unlikely to be swallowed, but is simple enough to perform.
