Read a few reviews stating these won't fit cap 1" dumbbell bar. i have the cap barbell 52.5lb set. would these plates fit?

I have the 1" CAP dumbbell bar with big screw on "collar?". I also have the 1" CAP standard 60" long barbell. I just now put the CAP 10 pound plate on both the dumbbell and the barbell. The 10 pound plates fit perfectly. When you see "Olympic" used to describe plates and barbells and any other weight lifting device, we're talking about the 2" diameter holes in the plates and the 2" inch diameter barbell.

Are the 25 lbs really 6 inches thick?

No, the plates are 2 in thick or less.

Why did one reviewer say these weigh "2.8" lbs when her photo clearly showed them weighing 2 lbs 8 ounces?

probably doesn't know how to read her scale or didn't know that there are 16 oz in 1 lb😅
