UPDATING MY REVIEW So far an excellent basic recording unit for me and for my limited budget. 1. Phantom power supply switch gives power to both preamps. Wouldn't it be better to have 2 different power switches one per preamp? 2. Sonar and Ableton Live seemed memory and storage high consuming programs (SO I DECIDED TO USE OTHER TYPE OF PROGRAMS SUCH AS ADOBE AUDITION AND STUDIO ONE 4 BY PRESONUS AND IS NOW WORKING PERFECT) 3. Used this Tascam with Cubase 7 and Audacity 1.0.2 and works ok. Got same sampling match error on interface driver and it seems it resets the unit to 44.1 KHz sampling. Don't know if this unit is really able to handle 96 KHz. (UPGRADED THE FIRMWARE TO MOST RECENT VERSION, AS WELL AS DRIVER CONTROLLER AND INTERFACE AND IS NOW WORKING PERFECT, ABLE TO RECORD AS PROMISED 96KHZ AND 24 BIT) 4. When I check my voice recordings it always sounds too bright so I always have to use noise gate filter prior any record plus post EQ on them, it could be due to low budget mic I have. (I PURCHASED A LOW-MID RANGE CONDENSER MICROPHONE SENNHEISER MK4 ANALOG AND THIS ISSUE SEEMS TO BE SOLVED ALREADY) 5. Used this interface without noise gate but my recording place is not as silent as desirable but interface does its part. (PURCHASED A QUAD XLR CABLE AND TREATED MY ROOM A LITTLE MORE AND MY RECORDING ARE IMPROVING THEIR QA) 6. This beauty is Japanese-German design, there are some complains about knob sizes and distance between then... I suppose this is the Japanese side of hardware design. (NOTHING ELSE TO ADD) 7. It seems to be true... Its ASIO driver is not multiclient and it stops recording or playing something if you minimize your recording software screen to look for something else on the web. (WITH FIRMWARE PLUS CONTROLLER SW VERSION UPGRADES SEEMS THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED) 8. Hardware monitoring feature is zero latency. I love it. (DIRECT MONITORING IS OK) My setting: 1. HP ELITEBOOK 840 G3 with 18Gb RAM and 255 Gb SDD. Windows 10 64 bits. 2. Tascam US-2x2 3. Sennheiser MK4 analog condenser microphone. 4. Dragon pad anti-pop filter. 5. Neewer armstand (THAT WAS CRAPPY SO I SOLD IT, NOW I PURCHASED A STAGE MIC STAND AND IS BETTER) 6. Steinberg Cubase 7 / Audacity 1.0.2 / Studio One 4 / Adobe Audition & Premiere

O produto atendeu as minhas expectativas, chegou antes do previsto, só que a caixa estava aberta, mas aparentemente sem qualquer problema
