GorillaPod 3K Kit

Works great with my Canon Rebel T6 and all my lenses, though with my Telephoto lens it does drift down a bit, but that's to be expected, it would be a non issue if I had a lens mount that i am looking into. I know the T6 isn't a heavy camera, but i don't think it would be a problem putting a much heavier camera on it, though with Tele's the lens mount would be a must, though that's true with almost any small tripods and should use one regardless I would think. I am looking to upgrade to the Canon 80D, though again not as heavy as a large full frame camera, though it is much heavier than the T6. Saying that is to say I have faith that the Gorilla pod will serve me just as well with the 80D as it has with the T6. It's very sturdy lightweight and quite versatile as you'd expect. I've not had any issues with it whatsoever in the 3 months I've had it. Wrapped it around fences, contorted it on rocks and trees, and it works perfectly. I've seen reviews of the legs coming apart and such, but mine has never done that nor given any indication of any catastrophic failure. It's so lightweight i take it everywhere with me even with my large typical tripod just in case, because there are instances where you can get lower and or closer to you subject with the Pod than you can with a regular tripod, like behind a fence on a bridge, just set up the Pod on it and it can wrap around it and is very sturdy and I got a better angle that way. And if you use a cable release its that much better

I purchased this tripod as a last-minute gift for myself this Christmas. I needed something both versatile and simple to use with my Canon Rebel. As many photographers and videographers recommend this Joby GorillaPod, it may be obvious that I have had my eye on one of these for a while. After a little more deliberation and far too much research, I swiped one of these up for $49.95. This product works exactly as advertised. The connection points are strong and it holds the weight of my DSLR effortlessly. It can be set-up in nearly every way imaginable, exactly as promoted. I was extremely pleased with it straight out of the box. I will note, however, even after reviewing the dimensions of the product on Amazon, I was surprised at how small it actually was when it arrived. Nonetheless, the GorillaPod has proven to work under all conditions I have used it in. After using it on the road multiple times, its size proved inconsequential, and I have found little to no shortcomings. Although occasionally it can be difficult to get the GorillaPod in the perfect position, with a little finesse, it can almost always work just fine. I have used it on uneven ground, on slippery surfaces, and even wrapped around tree branches without fail. Overall, I would truly recommend the Joby Gorillapod to any camera user, no matter their level of experience. Its multi-purposefulness makes it easy to use in a myriad of situations, making it a great "grab and go" camera tool. Joby has taken the benefits of both a tripod and a camera mount and combined them in a unique and useful way. Although I will always keep my tripods and mounts nearby, this Joby device will make a great addition to my camera kit wherever I go.

Got the kit for this accidentally and replaced the tripod head with something that is Arca Swiss for compatibility. Tripod itself is great, light, and can handle a DSLR. The plate is actually really compact, smooth to adjust, and has a cool quick release (unsafe for large cameras because there is no safety plate), but it won't work on any other tripod heads. Also note that the plate does not use D rings so you will need a quarter or tools to actually re-attach the plate. You cannot put a D ring on it either. Basically if this is the only tripod you put your camera on or don't care about taking it off all the time, this is a great unit. If you want Arca Swiss mounts, buy the tripod only and get a "low profile" tripod head to go with it. The tripod base itself is solid and a must have for carrying or field usage. I will often use this tripod (with a safer tripod head) instead of a camera strap for the versatility.

This is a beefy little tripod that will work well with my DSLR. The legs are bit stiff and hold their position well and offer the customization I was looking for in a tabletop stand as compared to tripods that have the fixed legs. The included ballhead is very solid as well and you can lock it down to any position even with a heavy load on it. My gear is nowhere near the 6 pound limit, but I do notice some wobble of the camera.

This Gorilla Pod is meant to be attached around pretty much anything. The many ballheads (10 per leg in total) are making for a very high flexibility and versatility. It is yet hard enough to move to avoid the grip to get loose. In addition to this, a rubber ring is on every ball to increase the grip. It is tall enough to be used as a table mount stand. The only downside resides in the attachment to the base of the camera. It requires a screwdriver or a coin when many other pods have a handle that can be used to turn on or off. The price is higher than similar items at base price but the construction makes the price difference worth it. In conclusion, it is a very good gorilla pod, very useful when travelling light. 5 stars.

So to be honest, I kind of tested the limit on this.. I mounted a whole cage set up on it and it worked! But like 3 times I know, I know I abused it. But props to Joby It handled the weight longer than I thought. I have another one, and I treat it with rugged kindness. I can put a pretty sizeable lens on it and feel condifent my camera isn't going to fall off It's super easy to just click the camera on and off the tripod. 10/10 Buy it, I'm telling you

Excelente produto. Ao usá-lo, você não fica preocupado se o suporte vai desmontar. Sua rigidez é impressionante. O indicador de nível auxilia no positivo horizontal da câmera. Você pode até achar o preço elevado para um tripé, mas vale a pena.

He comprado este modelo de tripode para llevarlo con una Nikon D5200 con un objetivo Tamron 70-300 como mucho (a parte de otros mas pequeños que tengo) y estoy encantado de como sujeta la camara. El soporte es muy estable y con un poco de practica logras moldear las patas para mantener estable a tu camara. Finalmente haces los ultimos ajustes con la rótula para nivelarla y listo, ya puedes permitirte otro tipo de fotografias que requieren de mayor estabilidad de la cámara (las de larga exposición por ejemplo) sin necesidad de cargar con el tripode tradicional; para su transporte se adapta muy bien a las dos mochillas que tengo por lo que tanpoco es incomodo transportarlo e incluso si me apuras un poco, cuando pones un objetivo mas pequeño puedes usarlo como palo selfie (aunque se te vea un poco aparatoso). En definitiva, muy contento con la compra realizada.

Questo è il tripod definitivo. Super resistente e leggero, ottimo per essere portato in giro. Con il gorillapod si aprono un'infinità di possibilità parlando di inquadrature, siccome non è solo un treppiede che permette di "alzare" o "abbassare" un'inquadratura, ma è proprio un modo di appendere il telefono/ macchinetta dappertutto, per esempio pali, rami, superfici piane o irregolari e tanto altro (come per esempio in foto). PRO: - resistenza e stabilità: anche con attrezzatura pesante il gorillapod resta aggrappato alle superfici e ai pali. Piegando le gambe le potete appoggiare il treppiede in maniera ancora più stabile (se per esempio c'è vento). - qualità costruttiva: i materiali sono fatti per durare, al tatto si sente che è stato costruito per durare e per essere usato tanto. - peso: molto leggero, qualità che permette di essere trasportato a lungo senza stancarsi. - livella: sulla testa c'è una livella che permette di raddrizzare l'inquadratura. - testa: anche la testa può essere ruotata in varie direzioni. C'è una vite per fissare la testa ma che è molto resistente e non cede anche con pesi più alti. C'è anche un attacco di tipo 1/4" -20. CONTRO: l'unico contro che ho riscontrato per adesso è il fatto che ri-allineare tutte le palline delle gambe non è velocissimo. Conclusioni: Utilizzare il gorillapod cambia veramente le prospettive. Se per esempio sei in palestra e ti stai registrando mentre ti alleni, puoi appendere il telefono (o fotocamera...) su qualche rack o barra per un'inquadratura migliore, invece che "appoggiarlo" a terra o ad altezza uomo. Se sei in un bosco magari su qualche ramo. Se sei su un marciapiede puoi "aggrapparlo" su un palo. Ormai non ci sono più scuse per fare inquadrature noiose e standard! Vale completamente la pena, se siente rigido y de buena calidad, las patas tienen goma anti derrapante, prácticamente se puede poner en cualquier lado, a mi que me gusta hacer viajes en moto la puedo dejar sobre el tanque y gracias al nivel que tiene no importa como queden dobladas las patas, siempre la cámara estará derecha. comprenlo no se arrepentiran
