Growing up we always had a brita pitcher at home, and trying one as an adult I get why. It’s super easy to use, and the water ends up tasting really, really good. Easy to store in a fridge even if you have a lot of other stuff in there, and holds plenty of water. Honestly I’d give it 4.5 stars if half stars were an option; it’s great overall but I’d caution that it’s slightly more fragile than it looks. My preschooler was trying to get himself some water, dropped it, and unfortunately it got a big crack in it. I know that’s not the pitcher’s fault; just would be nice if it was a touch more durable! Otherwise, it’s great.

Holds a good amount of water so you don't have to constantly refill it, but the container itself seems flimsy and thin, cheap plastic that would break easy. We shall see. Also, they sent the cheaper filter instead of the one advertised. May be a seller issue. Reported it to Amazon.

The idea to go for Elite is no more frequent filter replacement. But it’s meaningless if the indicator doesn’t work. The indicator light was completely off after less than 3 months (most likely end of battery life).
