Great vacuum head, I have no issues. It does really strip the hair off the carpet so I can stop lint rolling the carpet now for so long. It clicks in well and fits. I like that it’s light. Seems durable.

We've had our Miele vacuum for around 20 years. It was one of those expensive but well worth it purchases. It's a tank. It is the best vacuum ever. The head-piece finally conked out. This new one works perfectly, and is a slight design-improvement. Not low-priced, but Miele quality is not cheap.

Became increasingly frustrated with original floor attachment as the beater bar didn't work very well on my low pile carpet and required frequent attention to deal with all the hair wrapped around the brushes. Had resorted to using the small upholstery attachment for rug cleaning. Was thrilled to find the updated attachment which eliminates the beater bar and includes the same type of flat, but larger cleaning apparatus as my upholstery tool. Works just as I'd hoped on my rugs. And enables me to switch to stiff bristle brushes to clean hard surface areas. Simple, no nonsense design that works just as I'd hoped. Also provides greater suction than original. Worth every penny!

This attachment has given new life to my existing Miele vacuum cleaner. I've owned my vacuum cleaner - Miele - for literally 25 years! the original carpet cleaner broke recently - and I replaced it during Amazon Prime day with this piece. I can now vacuum my hard wood floors - without worrying about scratching them - as well as my carpets. It is a great addition.

I love my miele canister vacuum but the floor attachment head brush wore down and I was worried I'd scratch the hardwood floors. This new attachment works great and in fact it's lower profile allows me to vacuum further under furniture that I couldn't get to with the old attachment. I partial wood stairs with carpet down the center and this tool does not work on the carpet. I use the smaller attachment that came with the canister vacuum. I'm pretty happy with this new tool.

I have used this 10 times and the wheels broke. The dog hair wraps around them and because Miele has cheapened these up the hair pushes the plastic into different shapes and stop the wheels. I have contacted Miele and have not heard back so I am out 108.00 dollars for something that lasted me 10 times. I am hoping to find an old one somewhere. Now I have a useless $400.00 vacuum. Thank you Miele. Th original has one largeeel roller so dog hair will never get caught in it. First two pictures are the new cheap one, third is the original.

I purchased this to replace the original one for my Meili canister vacuum. The original one's bristles had worn out and it was scraping the hard floors. This new one is GREAT! It almost feels like it floats across my floors. Maybe the original one did that when it was new but that was over 10 years ago. I also love the pedal to switch from hard floor to carpet, it is much easier to toggle back and forth then the original design. I recommend this 100%

Problematic design: back wheels stopped turning after one use-can feel the drag and hear the scraping on my hardwood floors, suctions/grips too hard to carpet even with suction adjustment-I think it needs some wheels on front of head. Best for hardwood floors. Appreciate the head width for bigger rooms. I recommend not buying until they revise the design or to only use for hard floors and buy the roller one for carpets.

New vacuum head glides much better than the one it replaced. New button to select between hard floor and carpet is easier to use

La spazzola per pavimenti duri della Miele è straordinaria, resistente, efficiente, facilmente pulibile, tutti i pregi, non ha alcun difetto. Amazon bravissimo come sempre!

Unseren Miele S5381 HEPA geben wir nicht mehr her, da er noch richtig Leistung hat. Lässt sich übrigens auch gut reparieren, gibt viele Anleitungen auf YouTube. Die Bodendüse war nach all den Jahren schlicht verschlissen (Blech durchgescheuert und Bürsten kurz) und Ersatz musste her. Den billigen Nachbauten traue ich nicht, die Originaldüse gibt es nicht mehr. Diese hier passt aber eins-zu-eins, also alles gut. Der Preis ist allerdings schon hoch, insbesondere wenn man sieht, wie günstig Nicht-OEM-Ersatzteile angeboten werden können. Da zahlt man dann für den Namen Miele und hofft, dass der Ersatz solange hält wie die erste Düse.
