Worse than the older design
I was delivered the 'new' 2023 design which at first glance looks more modern and feels better. I bought three bottles but my excitement was soon tempered after using them a few times. The rubber nozzle is quite soft so I found it harder to pull open with my teeth, it just seems to deform and squish before you can get a proper grip. The main issue though, is that they leak from the nozzle, which is perhaps because the rubber is so soft and deforms. I just can't trust these to be placed anywhere apart from upright because invariably they leak (and normally that would be inside a bag, or onto my car seat, etc). The top is also harder to screw on correctly and seal, it's like the threads aren't great and often feels like they're cross-threading so you have to remove the cap and start again a few times. I have had about five of the older design bottles, and although they look more dated, at least they performed better!
