Advent Calendar to Colour

This is a beautifully designed, and very unusual, advent calendar. It is in the format of a book and the covers unfold. Open the book in the middle and you get two pages – the one of the left has a place for your child to write their name, along with a pattern of little robins, holly and flowers. On the right, there is a pretty Christmas tree, with snow falling. Both of these scenes can be coloured. If you open both these pages, then you reveal the complete, four page (these pages are card and will last well) design; complete with windows to open. You have a busy street, complete with shops and lots of mice, busily getting ready for Christmas. There are cafes, shops, presents, trees, buildings, shoppers and even a mouse Santa delivering a parcel! If you open the numbered doors, you get a picture – so, for example, the first window has a picture of an elf and a sack of presents. Part of the picture inside is coloured, part is blank and there is also the whole street scene to colour in. I have brought copies of this for my daughter, nieces and my god-daughter. So pretty and much nicer than the versions with chocolates in. This is something your child will love doing and which they can keep.

I am excited to share the Christmas countdown with my niece this year, I look forward to sharing each days colouring with her, and to see what each window we will be colouring. I love the fact also that it will be a keepsake for each year, if the colouring is of a good enough standard. I love Usborne books, have purchased several in the past and look forward to purchasing more in the future, as I especially love this colouring book series.

Bought as gift and was very impressed by quality and concept of design. It will entertain any child who loves colouring and is intricate enough for older children too. Beautifully presented to keep and reuse for years and years.

Bought this for my six year old grandson because I was instructed not to get one with chocolates. He was so delighted with it he wanted to start colouring as soon as he received it.

Dieser Adventskalender ist wahnsinnig toll. Meine Töchter und ich bemalen ihn fleißig, damit wir ihn schön bunt zur Weihnachtszeit verschenken können. Der Kalender sieht aus wie ein gebundenes dünnes Buch, dass man zu einem großen Bild aufklappen kann (somit bleibt er auch stehen). Dort sind ein weihnachtliches Motiv und 24 Türchen versteckt. Alles zum selber ausmalen. Ein ganz toller Kalender, dem man liebevoll den letzten Schliff geben kann. :) Die Beschreibung hier könnte jedoch definitiv verständlicher sein. ;)

Sehr süßer Kalender aus sehr stabilen Karton. Man hat jeden Tag eine kleine Abwechslung ohne das man sich mit unnützen Kram vollmüllt oder noch mehr Süßkram isst. Allerdings ist der Kalender deutlich größer ausgefallen als erwartet. Man klappt ihn 2 mal auf, was schnell den Schreibtisch einnehmen kann.
