Using it on a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Ltd Came with 2 fobs. Easy install. Reason we purchased this item as some accessories were not turning off when turning off the car and that was draining the battery dead continuously. Obviously an electrical issue. So for this kill switch on the fob you turn off when turning car off and turn on just prior to starting car. Works great, no more dead battery and probably saved us a lot of money for a electrical repair on this much older vehicle.

this unit worked well for a few days and then stop working. I used it on my ford 2013 E250 van not sure why it stop workinging i would like some feed back if possible thank you

Great remote disconnect. Great if car has an unknown battery drain and need to disconnect it. Well built and would recommend to anyone whom requires disconnecting the battery feom car in storage or temporarily means of preventing dead battery due to other electrical problems.

Will have to purchase a negative post extension. Otherwise easy connection and works great.

What a great product, but it didn't work out for me. What I wanted was a remote battery cut off switch with a manual override in the event I didn't have the key fob. I stash a key under my frame for when I'm locked out. I needed the manual override for that instance and few products offer this option. I loved this product, and all was well, the only complication was I had side posts on my battery. No problemo, I flattened a 1/2" copper pipe, cleaned it with my wire wheel, and intstalled as per the instructions. I placed a side post to top post converter on my negative terminal, installed the clamp on the side post, ran my copper bar from the other port of the device to my negative battery terminal, and attached the red lead to my positive battery cable. All worked perfectly. I left my home and lost power. The power steering was dead and the engine died. I pushed the key fob to ON. I was able to return home. I removed the kill switch device and had difficulty starting the car. After three attempts, she started up and I gunned the engine. All is well, I idled the engine for 20 minutes. My guess is the kill switch somehow interfered with the fuel injection because it seemed like I wasn't getting any fuel. Sorry everybody, I really like this product, but my wife uses the car and I can't chance using it.
