If you are thinking about getting a retractable extension cord just do it. You will thank yourself later. This is the only extension cord I use in my garage and driveway now. It is easy to mount to the wall. A little heavy easier to put up with 2 people but one can do it. The quality seems top notch have and what should be expected of a 12 gauge extension cord

There are quite a bit Pros and only a small handful of Cons: Pros: - Easier to install than anticipated. - Swivels (side to side) to help prevent over-pulling the cord - Three male plugs on the end - Adjustable Stop - Plenty of cord to reach an outlet - Feels really sturdy, nice weight to it Cons: - Mounting plate doesn’t make sense. Holes are wider than any studs. You might be able to get two screws in, but the other two would only be in drywall (if not mounting to a brick wall). - Instructions are only for mounting the wall bracket. If you remove the two screws where the swivel bracket is attached to the reel, the plugs pop out and you can mount this bracket directly to the wall/ceiling, reinstall the plugs and you are good to go. - The plugs that hold the swivel mount are held by a tiny screw but the plugs themselves feel pretty solid. Hoping over time it’s a non-issue.

I got tired of coiling and uncoiling an extension cord for various tasks in my garage. I bought one of these and bolted it to the roof beside the garage door track. Works well, looks good, and made my friends jealous. I would buy it again.

I went with 100 foot wall mount, I’m OCD and things need to be just so the fact that it’s wall mount and retractable is even better. It’s out-of-the-way and I don’t have to move 5 million times.

Good solid mounting bracket, cord is heavy duty and longer than most brands. I only gave 4 stars because the spring isn’t strong enough. At 12 gauge the cord is heavy, and doesn’t retract well at all. It took 3 tries to reel it in and it’s brand new.

I really like everything about this retractable extension cord, it works as it should and feels solid, I'm wanting to purchase another one soon as this is so much better then dragging a cord out. Good heavy cord and appears to be well built.
