I had four major incisional hernias two of which were compromised with intestines and I did not want to use synthetic mesh which all of the surgeons wanted to use with the exception of one of my local general surgeons who was willing to do my surgery with a bio-mesh. The only thing he insisted on was that I wear a hernia belt pretty much 24/7 with the exception of bathing. The one that was provided to me from the hospital was awful, so I searched until I found this one and I love it. It so comfortable and I can cinch it tighter when I need more support and loosen it when I don’t. Definitely size up but other than that, it’s absolutely perfect!! My Doctor even wanted me to send him the link so that he could recommend this belt to his other patients. I know that I’ll be wearing this when doing any major activities for the rest of my life but it makes it worth it with this hernia belt!

This belt can get tighter than others, which is what I was looking for. Its fairly comfortable to wear and easy to get on/off. Only downside is that the top and bottom parts start to curl when you sit down or bend over. After a while they start to stay curled. It helps to flip the belt every other use, and by flipping I mean instead of using it the same way, you flip it so that the bottom of the belt is now pointing up. It will still curl, but you can minimize the severity buy flipping it. There is no right side up or down, so its just as comfortable one way as another. Overall it works well and does what I wanted. For the money its just as good as the more expensive brands.

I'm a big guy 6'2 300 lb I'm currently a bouncer at a gentleman's club I don't have health insurance so I'm going to pay for my hernia surgery cash but in the meantime this belt has been a game changer I've tried lots of belts in the past and this one is the best it's almost a detriment to my future surgery because it works so well that some days I forget I have this umbilical hernia :-) Go ahead and grab this belt but also remember you have to get it done sooner rather than later!

The belt gives support, it stays in place but there is an extra 8” of flap that hangs loose and without adding some Velcro and modifying it would be hard to wear in public. Works good at home. The circular pad doesn’t extend into the umbilical area so it doesn’t fully prevent hernia strangulation but it is the best support I’ve had yet and I feel more protected with it on. I would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t have a support belt yet.

Says it goes up to 60” but it’s untrue. I bought the 3xl an it was actually a bigger size then I needed but I was ok with that it would have gave me more to work with but the size is way off says 3xl but fits more like a 1xl! So it’s useless to me!

Heavy duty harness that allows for custom fits. Has protective edging to prevent ends from digging into skin. Comfortable to wear all day with rare instances of discomfort at end of day. Can be worn with or without the belly button pad.

Fits fine for a larger person helps keep the hernia in place great product would recommend

Amazing! I have a full incisional hernia from my c section and was told to get one of these to help with the day to day from now until I get my hernia repaired. I put it on laying down as my hernia reduces in size. Without the belt the right side of my abdomen is literally on my thigh, with the belt, I am tucked in completely and supported my tummy is where it should be. It fits well, I was skeptical as my hips are wider than the length for the belt I bought (due to hernia) but it stretches and fits great! I find that the back of the belt folds down when I’m moving around but It doesn’t effect use or effectiveness for me. I highly recommend even if you have a slight apron tummy.

Great supportive item. I find it’s a bit wide for me and rolls down a bit when sitting but so far after - couple of weeks seems ok item.

Husband says it’s comfortable ( he’s a nit picker lol) so that’s high praise lol.

I bought the largest size and was very happy. It is supportive for my massive abdominal hernia which I have had for almost 4 years and has grown larger over that time (thanks NHS). It also helped relieve a bit of my constant backache associated with my huge stomach. I have been through a number of different belts over the past few years and this one is one of the better ones I've tried. It measured correctly at the given size of 53 inches long. My hernia at the biggest point is about 48 inches and I like the belt to be a bit bigger so I can have it doubled over the worst area so it gives more support. As I was happy I bought another one and that was a whopping 59 inches long! I sent it back thinking it was just a one off manufacturing mistake. I then ordered a 3rd one and that was also 59 inches long. I've now given up and will look for another type of belt.
