Beautiful and very high quality
Beautiful looking pot that makes life so much easier. Not cheap but it' very high quality and I have amazing results with my basil in it. I bought a second one year later for mint. Clear instructions, easy to assemble, no issue with functionality of the water level signalling feature. May buy some more in time!

Amazing pots
I own 3 of those pots different sizes for different plants. They simply amazing. The quality is superb, they don't loose colour and my plants are growing like crazy. I had always problems when going for holidays where my plants would just die if I could not get anyone to feed them. Now I don't care anymore as you top-up water and off you go for 2 weeks. I always had problems keeping my plants in good shape they would just start dying after 10-12 months and my herb pot would die if I went away for weekend. See pictures in my other review Greek basil cannot stop growing while the other plats keeps flowering non stop - crazy. Now I will be buying another Lechuza pot for my Yuka. Best spent money ever - and yes they not cheap but spending money on plants constantly is no fun at all.

Looks good, works well
Arrived quickly, no damage, and well-packaged. It is smaller than I had imagined, even when I'd measured it out! It fits very easily onto a normal windowsill. It's not very wide, just wide enough for one of the supermarket potted herbs to fit in when removed from its pot! It's also not very deep, especially when you've put all of the gravel stuff in that they give you. There's very little space to put your own compost/herbs/more compost in, and it very quickly becomes full and a very messy job! I managed to fit 3 herbs in (basil, coriander, and parsley) and I'd advise getting the larger one. Watering it is very simple, once you've worked out what the IKEA-style pictogram instructions are telling you to do! You need to allow the roots time to grow down through the gravel so that they can reach the water, so you have to (for 12 weeks I think?) water it from the top, as they won't be able to get any water from the bottom just yet. So, for about 3 months, it's not really self-watering, but after that you pour the water down the side and it's mostly self-regulating, with you topping it up every now and then when it gets lower. As a person who has never managed to keep any plant alive for any period of time, I'm pretty pleased and excited that my herbs seem to be doing really well, and that they look good whilst doing it! Overall, I think it looks sleek and smart (the little tube thing on the side spoils the look a bit, but my coriander is hiding mine...!) it's not expensive for what it is, and it feels pretty sturdy, so I don't see why you'd need to replace it!

A mini herb garden!
Love this! I bought this so I was able to put herbs in it so that I always had fresh herbs for when I was cooking and I'm so glad I did! You have to continue watering these are normal for about 6 weeks until the self-watering begins to happen however I didn't find this to be a problem. This is easy to set up and sits perfectly on my kitchen window and looks great however the only downside of this is that you can tell it's plastic which I know could be a problem for some people but it didn't bother me, I just wanted something that was going to be able to keep my herbs hopefully alive since when I've done it before by myself I've ended up killing them and now that I've got this they are thriving. I will buy this again for next year when I'm wanting to put flowers in it because I think it'll work just as well for those.

Excellent pot
It's the second time I order this pot. It looks grat and fits the window space vey easily. The pot is very solid with a beautiful modern finish. Doesn't stain from soil or water marks and doesn' t scratch easily. Only downside is that the water seems to be running out much quicker that what originally indicated (but it it sor tof summer so not too worried about it).

Kills the plants
I have had 3 different plants in this pot over the past 6 months and sadly all the have died. Not sure if its the constant access to the water or not but I am now having to get rid of the pot and go back to a standard one.

Up to the expected quality and looks very smart
I have been buying this make of container over the last couple of years and have never been disappointed. I have this one to grow herbs on my kitchen window ledge. It looks very good and is ideal for looking after plants if you are on holiday - after the initial weeks of watering in the usual fashion from the top of the container. All my others have been used outdoors and have looked after the plants well for me.

Good, but need improvement
Water level isn't reliable. It often gets stuck, so do not trust it. To have it back I have to lift the internal part, which isnt easy to do with the plant in it. Aside of this unreliable water level, the plant and soil are doing well with this pot.

Absolute Empfehlung!
