PROUNOL 100% Pure Treadmill Silicone Oil

If you own a treadmill, you need this and therefore the only product you want is 100% pure silicone. Even treadmills such as mine -- which came with a "no lubricant necessary" running belt (having a silicone impregnated under-layer). After 15 years, my belt and deck are holding-up well, but you could tell it was in need of some lubrication. HOW TO TELL? Simply slide your hand between the belt and deck IN THE AREA WHERE YOU RUN to feel how slippery the deck feels, or how scratched/gouged it is. If unsure, compare how it feels toward the back or side -- where your feet never go. And here's a PRO TIP: If your deck is scratched or gouged, feel the underside of the deck. Does it also have a slick coating (most of them do)? If so, flip it over and it will be like new (but wait until you replace the running belt if it's in poor condition -- meaning a bad belt will quickly wear-out the deck.

This is a must have if you want to keep your treadmill in good condition. I’ve been using this product for over a year. It’s kept my treadmill in great working order. You don’t need to use too much of the product at a time. I usually apply a small amount, about 12-18” long under each side of the tread. It’s easy to apply. You slightly lift up the tread on each side and place the nozzle under the tread. Then, squeeze the bottle and apply the silicone under the tread, see video.

Great product, used it on our treadmill, put a little under the belt at both ends and now it works great! I like the dropper that's included, makes it easy to control how much silicone is dispensed under the belt. The bottle, itself, is very slim, doesn't stand well for storing, would be my only criticism, but I'd still buy this again.

Got this lubricant to use on my small treadmill on which I only walk but not run. Every a few months, I put about 10-20 ml of silicone lubricant under the belt from both sides. Then walk on it at low speed for a which to spread out the lubricant. It works pretty well. And the price is good.

I am not a treadmill runner. No opinion on use for that purpose. However, for a car/garage/home it became indispensable for me. I was looking for some thicker silicone lubricant that would not run-off from car door seals, and Prounol was just right on the money. I did not like the twist cap though as I loathe twist caps in general. I prefer Luer cap squeeze bottles as their blunt tip needles are the best applicators/dispensers. As I had a stock of both caps and various size needles, I just swapped the original twist cap with a Luer cap. For those interested, the best dispensing needle for the flow was 16 gauge 1” long blunt tip one. If you are to get the Luer caps, you can search for Creative Hobbies® Luer Lock Bottle Cap, 20-410 Threads on amazon. There is one thing I did not like though, which is the safety seal is difficult to remove. Even with help of a hair drier (a heat gun can melt the bottle in no time), there is a rough residue of adhesive film left on the edge of the opening, which prevents adequate sealing to any cap. I kind of get it that they tried to remedy negative reviews on leaking in transit bottles, but it does not help sealing while in use. However, I am not reducing my rating for that.
