Learning Resources Pretend and Play Dish Set

I have bought my 3 year old daughter a lot of wooden toys for Xmas including a Cooker & Sink Unit the same as the ones she has at Nursery. They are both in primary colours as are all her downstairs toys & I wanted a dish set in the same colours that was of a high quality. These tick all the boxes, they are lovely bold colours & very robust. I was toying with getting wooden ones too as plastic can sometimes look cheap & flimsy but these definitely do not. I just can't wait for her to open them!

Sturdy and well made

Pretty nice set, seem sturdy and LO enjoys playing with these in his kitchen. Only downside is the cups and cutlery arrived with some kind sticky residue on them which was difficult to scrub off. Almost as though an old sticker had been peeled off.

This 24-piece set from Learning Resources (who also sell larger class packs from the same range) is well-made in thick, brightly-coloured plastic that is very appealing to children. If anything, the pieces are a bit brighter and shinier in life than they appear on screen. Even the cutlery pieces are a good size and thickness, and since the plastic they're made from has a little bit of 'give' in it, it doesn't tend to break readily. The set is not only perfect for role play, but also supports colour matching and numeracy activities, such as counting using 1:1 correspondence. Lasts really well - even in a group setting.

Very nice and colourful and fits perfectly in my daughters hands. Strong plastics. Looks long lasting. Happy with my purchase.

These look lovely, shiny, no sharp edges, kids love playing tea party with them. I used the same at at school too but was ordered through educational cataglogues. One of the cups handles broke off (I can probably glue it back) just by the cup being dropped on wooden laminate floor. I was surprised. It seems that the cup wasn't molded from plastic as a whole but the cup and handle were molded separately and then glued together?

A great little set, the plastic is much thicker than on most of the sets you get these days so they are far more durable and will stand the test of time!

Should have read the description more closely, very small, but probably ok for play with dolls. I purchased for grandson to picnic in the garden so a little too small for “real” drinks.

What a fantastic set of dishes for kids! I bought this for my grandson when I had gotten him a little kitchen for a cheap price at a secondhand store. I really didn't think they were gonna be this nice ! They are fantastic! They're so nice and durable, he's almost 3 and he hasn't broken one yet! And he loves playing with them ! Of course we go through a ton of water, and he loves playing with the pretend food and real food with these dishes and is learning a lot, pretending to cook, pretending to serve, really flexing the imagination! It's just great to watch him have fun with it and it's a great learning experience for him! And I just love how these are made because they're just exactly like regular dishes! And a wonderful price a really great deal ! And I have a feeling they're gonna hang around for a couple more grandkids when I get them which is awesome! I would definitely, definitely recommend this for anybody with little kids or kids who are a little older, they're really a great buy and you get a huge amount of stuff with them and a huge amount of variety, a lot of stuff that's regularly in your kitchen like a dish strainer, a juicer that you regularly squeeze stuff on by hand, regular forks, knives, spoons, cups and saucer it's just awesome they're just really great fun and great colors too ! I just really can't say enough nice things about these dishes! They are super awesome! I wish I'd had this set as a kid they are great! Thanks
