Q: Does this product smell like chemicals from a Chinese sweatshop?

Ours didn't smell at all. But I'm not sure what a Chinese sweatshop is or what it smells like.

Q: People are saying it sheds but is the inside also velour/velvet?

Inside seems to be a light nylon or some such soft material. Haven't noticed it shedding. Does a good job of protecting the keyboard from dust and cat hair.

Q: Will it fit a Nord Electro 2 61-key keyboard?

Although my keyboard has 88 keys the cover has a drawstring that can adjust to fit your 61 keyboard instrument with ease.
