Lancer Tactical Dummy NVG AN/PVS-18 Tactical Dummy Night Vision, Color Black

This is a great representation of a digital PVS 18.I've seen complaints that the mount point isn't correct, that a tool should have been included to remove the wilcox mount point.Please read the description and look at the pictures carefully before buying.This unit could have been better if the lenses could be removed so that user tinkering could happen. In spite of that, I still give 5 stars for accuracy.

The attachment point for the mounts it's covered by this dumb piece that is fixed using a hex key bolt that's not a standard size, I can't mount it unless I remove that part. Would've been great to know the size of tool needed or just include one. Or just ship it with those parts off.

I was looking for a cheap dummy nvg for my tactical uniform and found this. I've seen videos of ones like it and needless to say I wasn't disappointed when it arrived. HOWEVER, you cannot see clearly through it due to the fact of the lenses being flipped upside down. Theres people that have fixed that but I dont want to risk completely damaging the housing for the lenses. I would rate 5 star if the manufacturer made it see through.

Unfortunately, like most dummy night vision you can buy you are completely unable to see through it because of the curved lenses they always put on one end. They fit great on my mount but the lack of visibility is their only major flaw. The frame itself is sturdy and well built. Inability to see through them aside, this dummy mono tube night vision is amazing for use in cosplays, airsoft, and paintball.

The unit arrived boxed and in excellent condition and snaps well to my Wilcox L4 helmet mount. It is a dummy model that I wanted to use to check out how it would affect the balance of the helmet.
