Fear of the Lord: Discover the Key to Intimately Knowing God

Great book if you need to get to know more about God and have a deeper relationship with Him

The Fear of the Lord written by John Bevere, is a very challenging book to read. I'm glad I took the challenge and read this book. It clearly defines what the Fear of the Lord is and isn't, and how important it is for a believers relationship towards God. John wonderfully explains the Scriptures pertaining to the fear of God. I particularly enjoyed reading about two friends of God, Abraham and Moses. Read this book if you want your relationship with God to go deeper.

Great read

If I were to make a list of my top 20 books to recommend this would definitely be one of them. Until we have that depth of relationship with the Lord that shows an order in our lives, and understanding of His Holiness and a right fear of Him, can we really say that we KNOW the Lord?

This is a brilliant book and every Christian should read it. Too many people come to church to be entertained or out of a sense of duty. We need to rediscover our sense or reverence and awe for God.

This is a wonderful book for all christians. We need this type of message desperately in our churches. this book encourages us to draw near to God, and to leave the superficial christian life behind. Good growing material for those who are seeking and are thirsty for more of God!
