I had a good look at what was on the market.This was not the cheapest but it’s solid, high quality, the metal base and sides containing the planks do not cut into ones thighs. Comfortable and I’m really happy.I had to buy some special drill bits to get through my tiles which was extremely hard work, but for safety reasons it had to be done.I now have a really stylish looking seat to sit and soak or do my feet without throwing out my back. As we age let me tell you a seat is invaluable especially for elderly guests and well me…I wouldn’t say it’s expensive as such , ok it’s not cheap but the frame and hinge is definitely solid and very top notch and high quality. You get what you pay for and in this case that is very true,

I should have ordered a white plastic seat instead - the wooden set look nive and is stronf and sturdy - but the wood is already turning black even though we wide it after each shower

This is a quality product. Solid metal and real wood. Huge screws secure it firmly to the wall. Therefore a real pain to install. It comes with a template so at least you get the holes in the right place. Recommended.

Wir wollten eine klappbare Sitzgelegenheit im Eingangsbereich zum Schuhe anziehen. Der Sitz macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, sieht toll aus und nimmt keinen Platz weg. Perfekt. Würde ich nochmal kaufen. Aber einen Tipp an die Neueinkäufer. Nehmt andere Schrauben, die mitgelieferten sind echt schlecht und sind in null-komma-nichts durchgedreht.
