Great strings for a beginner
I bought these strings to replace the factory strings on the acoustic guitar I am learning on as I found they were difficult to use and I was on the verge of giving up as I couldn't seem to pull off barre chords. But after having the guitar re-strung with these strings I noticed a dramatic difference in the ease of fretting (especially with the dreaded F major barre chord). The strings also greatly improved the tone of my guitar and gave me a sound more suited to the rock style songs I was playing. Overall an excellent set of strings I would highly recommend to any guitar player from beginner up.

Great strings
As long as you look after them these strings will last a long time, very easy to put these on and have a tone unlike any others

Amazing… ONLY if you buy the right type!
I recently used “medium-light” EarthWood strings for over a year. The sound is warm and full of depth. Better than any strings I have used. After a string broke after countless hours of playing, I decided to buy the “Rock & Blues” version of these strings. I was aware that they would be thinner, more malleable, and have a different sound. However, I did not predict that the sound quality would be TERRIBLE. This was a big disappointment as I had high hopes for the brand and simply wanted to try something new from them. My recommendation is to buy “Medium-Light” version of these strings. They take a couple weeks to acclimatise to, especially for beginners, but you will immediately notice the amazing sound quality and you’ll be the next Eric Clapton before you know it.

As expected
Great quality and tone, easy to bend

Good strings.
I just fitted these to a guitar & they seem fine. I'm not sure how much difference the Phosphor Bronze coating makes over the 20/80 Ernie Ball strings I normally use. The unusual (heavy 3/light 3) gauges will probably work well for a more 'lead' style of playing.

Brilliant tone and feel
These strings are the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for the cross over from electric to acoustic

Good Value for Money with a Decent Sound
Excellent sound from very inexpensive strings. A bright rather than deeper sound and more suitable for a home guitar than anything too serious but produces good clear chords.

G string twang!
I've ordered these before and I totally love them but that "G" string isn't well. Im not sure if it's because it's single strand string, as its not a wound string. I bought these a year ago and the Am sounded horrible. Tried these last week and the exact same thing with that Am chord. It was like nails on a chalkboard. It's really unfortunate as these sound so nice. Bright, clear and the low E string has a nice deep base to it. It's the 2nd time this happened. I'm glad I ordered the Ernie Ball Earthwood Light at the same time. Tried Elixers and the coating frayed on 2 sets at Christmas. I've tried these Earthwood Lights and they will hold up well and they do sound great. Hopefully, you don't get the "G" string experience I did. I've had much better "G" string experiences before😉
