Magpul MBUS 3 Front & Rear Sight Set Fits Picatinny Rail, Black, MAG1166-MAG1167

Exactly what ive come to expect from magpul. Nice low profile back up iron sights for a good price and they are basically spot on from the factory. I put two set on two different rifles and neither one required any adjustments whatsoever.

I absolutely love these Magpul MBUS 3 front and rear sights! They fit perfectly on my Picatinny rail and feel solid once mounted. Installation was quick and simple, and the low-profile design is excellent for keeping things streamlined. The polymer construction is lightweight yet durable, and the flip-up action is smooth and secure. Perfect as backup sights or even primary for certain builds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and reliability at a great price.

Knew what I was getting due to prior experience with the product. Quality is not an issue. Ideal fo budget builds. Front Sight was a bear to fit due to out of spec Rail, which is an issue that I addressed. Size isn’t an issue for most unless you’re worried about rail space, the. I’d suggest upgrading to the Pro Series from the same manufacturer.

I had a set of the gen2 and liked them so when I needed a new pair decided to get the new gen3. I like them, they seem to have the same quality as the gen2 but with some new features. The rear sight windage adjustment is slightly changed with a bigger dial making it easier to use, especially while wearing gloves. The old front sight needed a tool to change the elevation, with the new one you dont need a tool, you lift the turning knob and turn it to the adjustment you want then let it go and clicks into place locking in your adjustment. This is by far my favorite change as I was always misplacing the tool the gen2 needed, it's nice to be able to make changes without the tool. The last difference is the location of the buttons to make the sight pop up, the Gen2 had them on the sides the Gen3 have it in the middle on top. They work fine but I found the location a little more awkward to press then the older ones, you have to reach up more taking your hands out of position. In summary I like them and would recommend.

Perfect sight to learn on, and old reliable for when thing happen. No complaints. Solid.

Take this with a grain of salt because I had my hand guard cerakoted before buying this so it may not be magpuls fault. The front sight was a nightmare to install because the tolerance was so tight and it had so much resistance sliding down the rail. I ended up being able to tap it into place finally with a piece of wood and a mallet while my brother in law held the upper in place for me but without help it was hell trying to get it to move. Because of the way the mount is shaped if you try to push it forward on the rail the front lip catches the ridge and can't be moved unless you have someone push it up to prevent catching while also holding the upper in place so you can tap it up. If I had to do it again and there was no way to get help I might try some kind of grease and then clean it off after mounting the sight. Now that it's on I love it.

Magpul has good quality flip up sights, good price point on Amazon, delivery was timely, fit on Pic rail was VERY tight, but that will help maintain zero after being dialed in, overall, I'm happy with them.

They are highly recommended by users. I purchased a new ar style rifle that came with no sights. These were recommended by several users, I have not mounted these because I also purchased a green dot and magnifier and when installed they left little to no room for the rear sight. So I have them if I need them, they are a nice product.
