Excellent product, been looking for one to fit my steam generator iron for ages. I have one for a standard iron but it’s too small, so pleased I found this one. Easy to fit on to the ironing board, stays on the board and folds flat for storage. Keeps the flex out the way and makes the ironing easier.

Would have given 5 stars had this been cheaper. It is expensive, but better than it's competitors. It holds the steam cord from my steam generator ok. And folds flat when you put the ironing board away, so you don't have to remove it. My mum had one years ago, and this is the first that has come close to how good that one was.

AVOID this item like the plague, it's shockingly poor - incredibly short, in effect unable to hold your iron's cord high enough so as not to wear against your ironing board and keep the cord out of the way while you actually iron (you're likely viewing this item for the same reason) In my pics, I've been using the taller one for some time (think it's Brabantia, sorry I don't recall) but it didn't grip correctly my stream generator iron's cord, so I used a velcro tie to hold in place and it's worked quite well to be fair, but wanted something, well, better looking rather than 'jury rigged' - had my eye on this one for a while but put it off due to how ludicrously expensive it was Wish I'd never bothered with it, it's an extremely poor design, doesn't grip the cord AND it's way, way too short Buyer beware This is going straight back I promise, you'll do the same Easiest review, for anything, I've ever left

The Good :- it works. It’s sturdy, one of the better options for an add on. The Bad :- The price is pretty obscene. It could do with having a way to adjust the height. The box has a picture on it that doesn’t really match the info you’re given on the sales site on amazon as it is really for the laurastar systems. I’ll be trying it this week and have to find a work around or adapt the height some how. Basically it’s an expensive but useful best of a bad bunch. Avoid the cheaper ones as they do break. I’ll decide if I’m keeping it when I see if it truly useful outside of the LS brand.

I initially bought a brabantia cord holder for my new Philips steam generator iron. The design of the head meant the cord never stays connected to it and it also folds the wrong way. No such problems with this cord holder which is very well designed and made, I cannot find fault other than it was a lot more expensive than others but anyone can still afford it, and it is worth getting one that actually works well. The cheaper one I bought will end up in a charity shop so a complete waste of money.

Endlich geht mit beim Bügeln nicht mehr das Kabel im Weg rum. Die Halterung ist wirklich praktisch, lässt sich an jeder Stelle des Bügelbretts (Ablage für das Bügeleisen oder an der dickeren Stelle des Bretts selbst) montieren. Habe nicht bereut, es gekauft zu haben.

Exactement ce que je voulais ! Maintient le fil de mon fer à repasser loin de la table, le bras est relativement flexible mais parfait pour soutenir le cordon. Et il peut se replier quand on ne l'utilise pas !

A well built product that works perfectly keeping the electric iron cord up high enough to stop it from snagging on the clothes. It can mount on the board, or in my case, I mount it on a kitchen cabinet close to where I set up the ironing board.
