It doesn’t extend, but that’s not a downside for me—this is a standard-size basin wrench designed for everyday plumbing work, and it works perfectly in that role. If you specifically need the extra reach, you’d simply buy an extendable version. For what this one is meant to do, it does it extremely well. The handle is sturdy, the swivel head grabs onto hardware firmly, and it feels like a tool that’ll last through plenty of jobs. If you’re replacing faucets, tightening or loosening supply line nuts, or working in those cramped spaces behind a sink, this wrench makes the job a lot easier. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense basin wrench from Duratech. Strong build, great grip, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any issues.

I feel like this is a highly returned item because people do the job and send it back - don’t do that. First of all, this tool is great. It’s sturdy, it’s heavy, and it does exactly what it says it’ll do. I had a spot that the tool itself barely fit into (nothing else had a chance) and this thing made it TIGHT. Secondly, this is a “buy it once and you have it forever” tool for a man’s garage. Any time you need to do something in the future, bam there it is. Neighbor having trouble? You get to be the hero. Hit it with a little oil before storage on the hinge and enjoy passing it down to your kid. Highly recommend this weird little one-off for your toolbox.

I got this as an alternative way of tightening my toilet seat screw nuts because hand tightening was not cutting it anymore. It feels a little bulky, but it is able to access hard to reach areas ( toilet seat screws and under the sink). Works as expected. The jaw is spring loaded- so you have to figure out what direction you are turning to properly place the tool for maximum effect. The jaws can be flipped for both clockwise and counter clockwise movements. The handle is basically a piece of a metal pin- not the best way to manipulate the tool but it gives you a hold point while you are adjusting the other end. After all- your tightening not torquing. The only thing I truly don’t like is the telescopic adjustment ( I thought I originally ordered the non- telescopic version) I see it as a potential failure point. It is a very basic spring assisted ball and socket. The end where the ball end- it is a solid piece ( minus the ball and spring) so there is no real way to access it. Overall-I would recommend this tool for the value conscious buyer.

Awesome. We have a Moen motion sensing kitchen faucet. There are a bunch of electrical wires in addition to the plumbing lines. Complete nightmare to access. This worked great to tighten it up. Definitely glad I found this! Makes access to hard to reach fittings easy. Grips tight and works at multiple angles. Love it. Hopefully don’t have to use it again. Haha

I had one similar to this one, but the gripper flopped around which was hard to work with lying under a cabinet trying to turn a nut. This one was stays put. So much easier to work with. Well made !!

The DURATECH 11” Adjustable Basin Wrench feels well made and is definitely useful for reaching tight spots under sinks. The jaws grip securely, the handle is sturdy, and for newer fixtures or routine maintenance, it gets the job done without any issues. Where it falls short is on older installations. It simply doesn’t provide enough torque to break loose fixtures that have been in place for years, especially when the bolts are rusted or corroded. In those situations, the wrench flexes before the hardware budges, so you’ll likely need a heavier‑duty tool to finish the job. Still, for the price there is value, and for standard sink work it can ease your installation and removal so long as it fits in the space you are working in, it’s a handy tool to have. Just don’t expect it to muscle through the toughest plumbing battles and depending on the size if the space, be aware it may not fit where you need it to, and may not fit every situation.
