MUST buy for your tri-bike
This is arguably the best piece of equipment I've invested in for my bike. 30oz is just right in the Texas heat for a 25-30 mile ride AND it's incredibly easy to refill with your additional water bottles - you never have to come out of aero for anything. I get complements every week when I ride because of the added look it gives my bike. LOVE IT

Overpriced; doesn't come with connector
I live in Western NY, which is certainly not the hottest place to live in the US, but the summers are toasty. I have carried 2 32-oz bottles in cages with me, but wanted more, particularly so I could fill one with electrolytes. After seeing bottles that mounted on people's aero bars at races, I knew I needed a big one that didn't get in the way so I could bring more water on rides and have the added bonus of not continuously needing to reach down to get water bottle. Research showed that there aren't many to choose from. My requirements were: 1) Doesn't sit on top of the aero bars (the torpedoes look huge and seem to get in the way) 2) Must be at least 32oz I looked at this one and thought about it before buying for weeks because it is INSANELY expensive. $70 for a WATER BOTTLE, plus another $25 for the connector?? And one that isn't insulated and doesn't even come with the necessary connectors to actually attach it to the bike? But, after some time, I saw no other option and decided maybe I could deal. Neither the connection kit or water bottle come with any directions. Within the first 2 miles: First: Didn't use the tiny pads at first - the holder that attaches to the aero bars (with zip ties!!!) rattle and moved, scraping the crap out of my aero bars. Second: Water bottle, "secured" with the pathetic velcro tie, fell off at about 20mph, crashing to the ground, spilling everywhere and getting scratched all over. Managed to secure it again and tried to continue on my ride - rattling was horrible and the bottle bounced a ton, but I cut the ride shorter than usual (usually out for 30-40 miles) and it didn't fall out again. To get mine to work: Since the bottle was aesthetically destroyed, but fortunately still functional (no holes), I made the following adjustments to make it work: 1) I bought a roll of foam wall adhesives used to attach pictures to walls and stuck a ~3in strip under each arm of the v-shaped holder for the water bottle. Bought a pack of longer, wider zip ties, cut the ones sent in the pack off, and added more, wider ones (4 instead of the 2 that came with it). 2) Tied it in with paracord. This turned out to be unnecessary, as I was able to get the velcro strip to work, keeping the bottle in the cradle. Overall, this water bottle should only cost about $40 AND come with the necessary cradle - it's literally useless without that $25 "add-on". Do I still use it? Yes. Unfortunately, there aren't many choices and, after spending even more money to secure it, it seems to work fine. The water is warm, then hot, very quickly since it's black plastic and not insulated, but it is very nice having water right there. Another Pro: They did spend some time on the aerodynamic design, and the cap on the top - it has some plastic "leaves" that prevents splashing, and a cap with a small magnet that lets you open it easily, jam a water bottle in it from an aid station, and fill it up, the replace the cap. I used this for a half ironman and it was, in the end helpful.

Wanted to give a Five star because I love it. A couple of minor details is
Wanted to give a Five star because I love it. A couple of minor details is... I almost lost the drinking tube as it was coming out of the holder as I was flying down hill on a rough road. The vibration was causing it to work itself up and out and I couldn't take my hands off the bar end at 38 mph. It folded over and barely stayed in as I slowed down and was able to push it back in. So, when I got home I took a pair of pliers and was able to pinch the opening into more of an oval. That has seemed to work. No problems since. The other thing I did was to put some electrical tape around the section that snugs up against the mounting bracket. The vibration of plastic on plastic was causing a small rattle sound . The tape works perfect and you cant even see it. One last thought, I wish it came in white because I ride in the Arizona desert heat and doesn't take long for the water to get warm. I'm thinking white would not be as hot. All and all. I love it and am able to hydrate more often than I would if I had to reach for a conventional water bottle.

overprised for quality
I had to buy 3 bottles within a year because if they pop out of the holder, they crack when they hit the ground. The material is very cheap. Mine pops out if I am on bad roads. If there is another hydration system that fits your bike I would by it. Unfortunately this was the only one that worked on my bike. I am now back to regular water bottles. $70 for a poorly constructed water bottle is ridiculous.

Had potential
I tried this bottle as a replacement for my Profile Designs Aero as the Aero doesn't have a good way to mount a computer. However, I can't recommend this bottle for the following reasons: 1. Extremely difficult to clean 2. Black color makes it impossible to see if it is clean inside 3. tube is too flimsy 4. the mounting concept has potential but didn't work on my Felt B16. When using in combination with the computer mount it resulted in having the bottle too low (on the lower slot). the result was having to lean forward more than desired to drink. I'm going back to my Profile Designs Aero. It doesn't have a good computer mount but it addresses all of the other items above. Unfortunately I missed the return window by one day so I'm left seeing if it'll work better for someone else on eBay

Great performance addition
Haven’t had any major problems, the straw holder will fall off sometimes but it is not the end of the world. Makes tri times significantly faster without having to reach for a water bottle all the time. I notice I drink more water when I ride too because it is right in front of my face.

Functional but not easy to clean
I like the 30 oz capacity of the bottle and how well it fits into the bracket (sold separately), but since the bottle is black, one cannot tell if there is mold growing inside and cannot see how much fluid is remaining in the bottle. The "splash-proof" cap is not splash-proof; fluid will splash out when hitting a bump in the road, splashing onto my face and helmet visor. Also, when riding over rough pavement, the drinking tube starts sliding up and out of the bottle. I have to push it back into the bottle manually to prevent it from falling out of the bottle altogether. The bottle should be re-designed to allow the cap to be removed to allow cleaning with a bottle brush instead of simply shaking it with warm, soapy water and then rinsing and hanging upside-down to dry. I've pointed out what I don't like about this bottle, but it is still the best one I've found. I think there is a huge gap in this product line for another company to design a better product that meets the needs of the cycling community.
