Set of 2 Paring Knives No.112- Natural,Pink,yellow

The knives work really well, although considering the company's previous folding knives, such as the Opinel No° 8 and No° 9, also made of stainless steel, I can see differences in the quality of the blade. Don't get me wrong - maybe I'm too picky, but this product doesn't hold its sharpness as well as the folding knives from this brand, which are mainly used for cutting vegetables, meat and sausages. Overall, it's a good friend in the kitchen, but I would recommend using a good quality sharpener such as the Lansky turn-box. Overall, I am very satisfied and recommend it.

I like to cook. I like to cook with sharp knives. I like Opinel knives and blades, and when I saw Opinel make cooking knives, well you can guess the rest. Lovely beech wooden handles, sharp blades, extremely simple construction, good length of blade. Only slight reservation is that when you look down while you're cutting, the back of the blade looks almost exactly like the front of the blade, so hard to tell if you're holding it the right way round. Apart from that, highly recommended. ESPECIALLY if you had an Opinel penknife as a kid! (Or adult).

I lost my last knife in the garden somewhere when pruning for cuttings. The replacements were wonderful. Top quality.

Bought these and absolutely love them. I’m not sure if they are dishwasher safe though

This pair of knives is a great value. They are simple but comfortable and hold a good sharp edge. The knives are light and easy to handle. The steel is a good stainless that shows no signs of discolouring so far. The slot in the handle for holding the blade seems like it could be improved on this style of Opinel knives. Out of 3 knives we have, 2 seem to have gaps around the blades, which seems prone to catching food residue. With a bit of care in cleaning though, this doesn't seem to detract from the functional quality of the knives and the excellent value they are for the cost!
