Bought one years ago for a project but never got around to trying until recently i needed it for a tug boat....worked amazing with excellent range well beyond a half mile and with small form factor, the transmitter stores inside the model for transport and storage. I went ahead and bought another of these that night for another boat I have and will be buying a couple more of these soon because the value is impossible to beat and for the price ill get more for my other boats to phase out other bulky battery hungry transmitters and do away with needing to swap recievers from model to model.

My initial impression is good. A decent package for the price. I'm using it to upgrade a Tamya Grasshopper-II buggy for my grandson. The original radio worked well but was only 2channels. This radio is 4channel so it will allow me to add lights to the buggy.

Used to upgrade a wood RC car kit. Works great and I really appreciate that this was available for AAA cells so I can use Eneloops rather than built-in lithium ion batteries.
