Works great! Good quality. Very fast to heat up. Loads of nibs. Two pens so you can switch from point work to shading super easy. Great value for the money. I'm newish to wood burning and this is way better than other products I've tried.

Compact woodburning kit. Having two pens is convenient. Used to make Christmas gifts and it worked well. Having several tips to use is an extra bonus. Very well made and compact. The padding on the pens make them comfortable to grip and heat does not transfer to your hand. Glad this was purchased.

Once you have used an inexpensive starter set and realize you love pyrography, this is a FABULOUS next set to get. Small footprint, so it fits easily on my craft table, and so easy to put together. Two pens you can put nibs in and switch between while working, attached holders for hot pens, loads of other wire nibs in a container that is part of the unit, and a temperature dial to more precisely customize the heat, as well as a very broad range of temperatures (tip: start low until you get comfortable moving up, or you may ruin your piece). One of the best parts is the insulated grips for both pens to avoid your working hand from being exposed to extreme heat, which can and does happen with less expensive sets when you are working for a while, and it can cause extreme discomfort and even burns. I'm definitely keeping my starter set, because it has some great attachments, but it just doesn't work for me for everything, especially since I do a ton of writing in addition to drawing and shading. This set has changed the game for me for writing in particular, but I can't wait to try out more of the different nibs. Highly highly recommend this set.

They heat up quickly and and the burn temperature appears very consistent throughout a project, resulting in smooth and even burns every time. The dual-barrel holder is like most you'll see in similar products, except I would consider this one sturdier than those I've gotten before. Means less change of a holder mishap leading to damaging your workspace (or yourself!). It’s a simple yet effective solution for holding the pens when they’re not in use or are heating up. It’s a small detail, but it adds a lot to the overall user experience by keeping your workspace organized and safe. In terms of build quality, both the pens and the tips are sturdy and well-made. They feel comfortable in the hand, even after extended use, which is crucial for those longer projects. Overall, the 939D-VI dual pen kit is an excellent tool for experienced wood burning artists, and I think it would serve as a reasonably comfortable intro tool for beginners. Great value for the price; I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in wood burning.

Great product love the digital temperature gage and ability to use two different pens makes switching between tips easier. Tips cool off quickly adding greater flexibility. Best wood burning I've ever owned.

Great condition works great little slower to heat up

I bought a standard craft store woodburner for $30 and it was so uncomfortable to use. I was about to give up on this hobby before even getting started. Then I found this. Dual tip, cushioned grip, fast heating (I've not gone above 1.5 because this thing gets HOT), digital temp control, and sturdy holders. The peacock is my 2nd time woodburning and my first time using this. I love it! Great value for the money and so easy to use.

Heated up in less than 10 seconds and burns perfectly awesome working on a 1/3 size trumpeter swan feathering with this unit works perfectly
