Does this cave hold it's shape? or fall flat easily? i'm torn between this one and the twin critters/kittikubbi

Hello Carmen,Thank you for your question.Per experience with our cat playing around with cat cave (or other cats) he was able to flat it's to a pod but at the same time he was able to squeeze inside and regain it's shape. Due to fabrication method of this caves it holds it's shape very good but the CAT decides how it's should be and he always knows better what he wants. Cats nature ;)I hope this helps.

One of my cats is very large - 20 pounds. would it be big enough for this full-figured girl?

No it really isn’t roomy enough for a very lg cat. My cat is 18 or 19 lbs and he can get in it but can barely turn around. I don’t recommend this size for big cats. It’s advertised as a lg but it’s more of a medium

Has anybody tried using this with a dog? My dog acts kinda like a cat and I wonder if she would like this home. She weighs 12 pounds.

I think any pet that likes a little cave-like space would like it. Only drawback would be if your dog likes to chew on her bedding and what not.
