Abutment vent
Used this a lot on vaulted ceilings when you need to get airflow out the top of the roof with the aid of soffit/eves vents. It works on slate and tile roofs. Comes with copper straps. Hook the straps onto the highest point top battern normally. There's a sticky pad to keep it in place.roll out the rubber vent.(there's a sticking strip on the back to keep in place) roll your lead on top. Send the lead up into the existing lead flashing, trim off any exposed rubber vent to make it flush with the bottom of the new lead. Bend over copper straps to hold it all in place.
