Review: Very gentle cleanser - not to remove heavy hair products though - This soap is lovely, it smells only very slightly soapy but natural and doesn't leave a lingering scent. I bought it to use in my curly hair as a gentle shampoo but I've ended up just using it on my hands and face. While it's lovely, it's just not strong enough to strip my scalp of the heavy butters and oils I use. It wasn't something I could ignore either - from just the first wash my hair felt clean but my scalp wasn't no matter how many times I re-washed. I still give it 5 stars because it's got a nice formula, it smells good and it cleans well.

This soap is lovely, it smells only very slightly soapy but natural and doesn't leave a lingering scent. I bought it to use in my curly hair as a gentle shampoo but I've ended up just using it on my hands and face. While it's lovely, it's just not strong enough to strip my scalp of the heavy butters and oils I use. It wasn't something I could ignore either - from just the first wash my hair felt clean but my scalp wasn't no matter how many times I re-washed. I still give it 5 stars because it's got a nice formula, it smells good and it cleans well.

So far so good,just started using it. I would say it’s definitely better than the Dudu Osun African black soap as i think it was just too harsh on my face and I wanted something that used all natural products. I have to say my face now is looking soft and supple.
