Biona Organic Wild Rice Mix 500g (Pack of 3)

Great product! I couldn't get my partner to eat brown rice but this product it's interesting and leaves you with a nutty flavour..

This is a really good quality wild rice it arrived promptly and it was well packaged so I am happy with the purchase. It takes longer then quick rice or basmati to cook around 50 minutes in all just letting you know incase you want something quicker but is highly nutritious and I liked the taste.

My favourite rice in the world, just soak it for 24 hours if not longer, closes to nature.

I gather from reviews that I'm not the first to be fooled by the label on this Biona product. To me, 'Wild Rice Mix' suggests a mix of wild rices various - the product is not advertised as 'Rice Mix Containing 2 Per Cent Wild Rice'. Only if one scrutinizes the contents label does one realise that the wild rice content is so low. I'm the fool - I made the mistake of accepting the manufacturer's sales pitch. I guess I didn't expect it to mislead me. I've since complained to Amazon, who dutifully refunded me. There are many sources of '100 per cent wild rice' on Amazon, and I've ordered from one of those instead, and donated my Biona to the birds. LJP.

There really is very little wild rice in it. It says wild rice mix but id say not even 5% of it is wild rice.

This is really nice, it’s full of flavour and a little goes a long way. I suggest you cook it a little longer on a lower heat if you prefer your rice soft. Overall a lovely product.

This rice mix tastes great. It takes a little longer than the average white rice to cook, but it is worth the wait.

I have ordered this several times. It’s delicious and nutritious, it’s also versatile. We use as a side dish or base for curries.

Very tasty and compatible with many sauces. My family loved it.
