Reliable, compact, dim, and bright!
Perfect flashlight. It’s been my work EDC for two years now. Great runtime and has all the light modes you could ever need. Magnet charge is really convenient and super strong. Clips on a hat and is really durable. I’ve dropped it off ladders and it’s still working like it was on day 1. I would recommend getting the neutral white over the cool white if you can. The low modes are also very convenient to light a room if the power goes out. Low mode can run for about 5 days and moonlight mode can run for months. The only thing other flashlights might do better is throw a beam farther. That said, I would take this flashlight over any other if I needed to pick just 1.

Great light, very, very bright on highest setting.
This light is bigger than the little guy I had previously, the Baton 3 1200 lumens. The Baton 1200 lumens is smaller, fits neatly in any pocket and I found it very useful. This larger Baton 3, I use as a regular flash light without the bulk of a household flashlight. It has 3 brightness settings, a circular charge cap/usb charge cable and on the lowest setting the battery lasts a long time. I use mine typically several times a day and I haven't recharged it in over a month. I'm sure at the brightest setting it would require charging more often. It has a magnet on the end so if you need to be hands free, also a pocket type clip. That said, it is a longer, heavier one than the smaller 1200 lumens, but is fantastic when you need a much brighter light. On the highest setting it is very, very bright. This Baton 3, 1500 lumens is heavier, bigger, brighter and it is very well made. Definitely worth the money I'm glad I purchased it.

Best EDC flashlight
I got this with the warrior S3 as a Prime Day deal a while back. I had been keeping an eye on the warrior for hunting and camping, they are both great flashlights but this little guy is perfect. Punches way above its weight class in brightness, fits in my pocket perfectly, and is exactly the right length to sit on the bill of your cap where the clip holds it snugly in place. Also the moonlight mode is great for moving around at night in the house without waking people up. I can’t believe how much use I get out of this little light since I can just clip it on my hat and keep working on the smoker or my truck or whatever I’m doing in the yard as it gets dark. The warrior is much brighter (also a much better tac light if that’s what you are looking for) and I love it too but if I had to keep just one of them I would be keeping the Baton because of the day to day usefulness. I will be getting several of these as Christmas gifts this year most likely.Only con to me is the proprietary charger. I actually love the way it works but if you lose it or it breaks you can’t just use what you have lying around the house. I have 2 since I have 2 olights and they are very easy to charge but you only have one, the charger could be an issue if it breaks.

Essential Everyday Carry Flashlight!
The Olight Baton 3 Pro has become a must-have in my everyday carry essentials, alongside my Leatherman Skeletool, Space Pen, and keys. This flashlight is impressive—it holds a charge for a long time and offers three different light settings, with a powerful 1500 lumens that really cuts through the dark. The build quality is excellent, with a durable metal body that’s scratch-resistant and built to last. For the price, the value is outstanding. If you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting, and bright EDC flashlight, this is a fantastic choice!

Questions about the switch and throw distance kept this from being perfect.
While many rave about Olight, and I myself own several of the lower-end models, I couldn't love this one. I really enjoy the lower-end models for a quick charge and in your pocket convenience. Not to bash Olight specifically, but I think the flashlight industry may be a tad generous on their claims of how far the beam will reach. That, and the (to me) non-intuitive selector switch. Yeah, it is built like a tank, like all of them, and it is comfortably small but not too small, but that darn switch killed it for me. I'm only taking off one star because for all I know I could just be missing something that everyone else knows, but hey, that's why we write reviews, right? That's my take at least.

Digging the beam pattern and light color but...
I just got this flashlight today, I order the ODG in neutral white. Im really liking the form factor, so small and compact, I think it's the perfect size for EDC. Also the neutral white version has a very nice warm tint to it which makes it very pleasant to the eyes. The beam spread is very wide and a bit diffused which makes it a very nice semi flood light to light indoors. The moonlight mode is ridiculously low which is perfect for inside a tent or you inside a room if you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bath room. In a way I would say that this light is the opposite ( or a nice compliment ) to the Baton Turbo which has a tight hot spot and concentrated beam.If you do handy work or are looking for a small carry for inside the house I think this is your guy. I only wish you were able to place the clip in reverse so you can carry it more comfortably upside down, or at least add the plastic adapter as they did for the Warrior 3 mini. Also wish it had a tail switch but I understand thats not part of the Baton Series. For the "Baton 4 pro: wish list on the I would ask for olight to update the button to a nice metal switch one and add LED indicators. Overall I would highly recommend this light, the light color and beam size is very pleasant to the eyes,PROs:- Compact- Nice soft beam with wide hot spot.- Comes in neutral white.- Very Low and wide Moonlight mode, (best one I have seen from all my lights)CONs:- Button is rubbery and squishy and it feels somewhat cheap compared to the newer models- no design in the tail to reverse the belt clip ( also no plastic adapter to switch it.)- the head does get a bit too hot in turbo mode.- Button needs to be pressed a bit hard compared to something like the "baton 4" which has a very silent button.
