Saves the inside of your expensive kitchen dodah. At around £13.00 it's stupidly expensive for what it is, but there is very little choice.

have tried a replacement but it didn't fit. Seems that you have to buy the original!

Just Perfect & great Value

This product arrived quickly and as described. There is a small dial at the bottom of the filter called the `Aroma-Ring' that you can adjust according to the hardness of the water in your area. However there are 3 settings; A, B or C and the only instructions are, unhelpfully, that 1+2 -> A 3 -> B 4 -> C I have assumed that 1 and 2 are for soft water, and 4 is for hard but it would be nice for confirmation. Secondly a warning, it appears that all Brita Intenza's are not created equal - this does not fit properly into my Gaggia Brera espresso machine. This was my own fault for not checking that there are different types of cartridge, but hopefully it will help someone else not to make the same mistake. I cannot therefore, properly comment on what difference the filter actually makes to the taste of the water.
