Wanted to add some variety to my cats’ diet. That had gotten a little bored with the usual canned food and I also wanted something that would add hydration to their diet. My neighbor who runs a pet rescue recommended this brand and gave me a few cans to try. My cats loved it and ate it all! So I have added this to their regular brands I feed them. Will definitely be buying more.

I have been buying this brand regularly for over a year now. My cat absolutely loves it. She gets a hefty tablespoon of this treat every day (in addition to her regular dry food). One can is good for 4-5 days, making it affordable for a widow on fixed income. My cat loves every flavor. However, you might tend to go with the chicken and duck flavors more if you don’t like the smell of fish. It is pretty strong. The chicken dinner in gravy has a bit thicker sauce. Some of the other flavors have a little too much liquid, making it pretty thin toward the last portion-more like soup than food with gravy. So those could use a little improvement. You have to test the flavors to see what you and your furry friend like best.

I know quite a few people say their cat dislikes this food, but if you have a picky eater I think you should give this a try! My cat is an extremely picky eater (she won’t eat anything except science diet or this, and sometimes turns down science diet). I think she likes it because it is more “soupy” in quality; it has less large chunks and is mostly little shredded bits. I give her this food in teaspoons throughout the day (hyperthyroid kitty) and she eats it every time. Sometimes she gets tired of wet food, but she’s been eating this for months and still loves it! Knock on wood. This flavor is the only one she likes (generally everything needs to be chicken flavored, even her treats). My only complaint is that I wish it came in bulk, since she eats a big can every 1-2 days.

My cats love this stuff. Only downside was a few got diarrhea when they had it 3 times in one day. We do breakfast, lunch and dinner time. They each get about 1/5 of the can per meal. So I would suggest not giving them a lot till they either acclimate to it or just doing it as a daily treat. I weened mine onto this food over the course of a few weeks mixing it into their previous food. I seem to have a few with sensitive tummies and others had no problems with the higher intake of water. My understanding was that this is a good option if you have a cat who doesn’t drink enough water. This food has a higher moisture content so they get more fluids per day. Definite upside. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to increase their cats fluid intake and get them something healthier. It definitely smells like fish for the sea ones which I take as a good sign.
