Ultra Helium Hi-Float Latex Balloon Treatment Kit

This stuff is amazing. Decided to run a test. 2 latex balloons without this, one tied with a knot, one using a balloon valve, 2 latex balloons with this gel, again one tied and one using a balloon valve. Without the gel neither balloon lasted 24 hours. Both of the balloons with the gel are still floating at ceiling level 8 days later. I have a feeling the people saying it is messy didn't put the dispenser nozzle properly into the bulb of the uninflated balloon and those who said it didn't work didn't bother rubbing the bulb so the gel covered the entire surface - thus leaving an untreated patch to let the gas escape. It's like anything - you get out what you put in. Balloons still floating at ceiling level more than a week later are a result as far as I am concerned. UPDATE: 14 days now and still going strong FINAL UPDATE: after 23 days they started dropping from ceiling level and by day 25 they were finally no longer floating. - but 23 days for latex balloons! Didn't know this was possible.

After reading some bad reviews, I was a little sceptical. So much so, I decided not to risk blowing up balloons the night before. Instead opting for getting up extra early to get everything done before my wife got up on her birthday. I needn’t have worried. 36 hours later, I’m still surrounded by fully inflated, floating latex balloons. Not one of which is looking even remotely like it’s ready to rest on the floor. Great product and easy to use. Just follow the clear instructions. Make sure to squeeze it around the balloons before inflating. It does give off some vapours, so I had to open a window. But that goes quickly. 5 days later, every latex balloon is still floating. Those not held down are still on the ceiling. No signs of deflating. They’re fairing better than the foil balloons filled at the same time. Way better than I expected.

Are use the stuff for a party and unfortunately I found it too hard to tie the balloons once I put the gout win because it was too girly and your hands are slippery. My solution to this would be to recommend using plastic believe in ties sort of with that use that restaurants are they just going to twist around a couple of times and then it catches the end of the balloon tip so they don't have the tie. Otherwise it's a lot of faffing when you're trying to get ready for a party or an event and it's wasting time that you just don't have . I've tried and tried again to attach a picture of one of my buffets to show how the green balloon is still floating strong and the other two that I did not use the goo in are on the ground and it's been 24 hours. So whilst this stuff is good and it does work the instructions are easy to follow in a straightforward if you use too much in a small balloon the balloon will not float if you use the right amount for large balloons then it will float and it is good it does seal up the pause of the balloon so it last longer . I'd say there is a bit of trial and error at first but I would use it again as long as I had plastic balloon ties and I don't have to manually tried to tie the tip of a balloon into a knot . Try to attach a picture and it doesn't work and iPad through the Amazon app. Once I select attach a picture that takes me to the picture of it and I don't know how to get back to my review so I'm not including the picture . I would use the stuff again as long as I wasn't tying them manually . Update: four days later and the green latex ballon I put this product in is still floating strong,

Well after reading all the reviews and the not so good ones I thought id give this a try for my Dads 80th Birthday party. I ordered two different size balloons along with the Hi Float treatment, (9 inch and 12 inch respectively). On the 2nd March I took all my items and set up, filling the balloons with the treatment first as instructed etc - Ive just spoken to my mum today (29th April) and there is still one balloon drifting by the ceiling!!!! The treatment made the helium balloons stay up for ages after my Dads birthday and we were taking bets as to how long they would last, no body thought it would be this long though! You do have to be careful that you do not put too much treatment in to the smaller balloons otherwise the treatment wont work as too heavy and wont last as long, the 12 inch balloons did last longer but the ordinary size (9 inches) still stayed up for well over a month with only a couple not lasting long (hence my caution about over filling with treatment as I accidentally put a larger amount in for the bigger balloon instead of the correct amount for the smaller ones). This product is well worth the money in my view, especially if you want to blow up the balloons before going to the venue and are worried about them lasting. 5 stars !!

Nozzle was broken when we opened the box, we were styling for a 65 birthday party and were unable to use the product we tried to sellotape it on but was useless and there was mess everywhere. Had it not been for the mess it made I would have returned it but threw it away instead. Can’t comment on whether the balloons would have stayed up for obvious reasons!!!!!

My daughter got married a week ago; we decided to have helium balloons. We had latex balloons we treated with Hi-Float, but also plastic balloons filled with glitter, feathers, confetti and latex balloons blown up by a local shop on the day. Those we treated with Hi float we inflated on the morning of the day BEFORE the wedding and were told they wouldn't last until the ceremony. You can see from the photos that the others have fallen but those we treated are still up after SEVEN DAYS! I have been absolutely delighted with the results; the product has exceeded it's own claims and confounded the doubters! It has good, clear instructions and is easy to use. It is a gooey product, but if you use it as directed it can be a mess-free experience.

The product itself is great. I tested a small 10" balloon with helium and it floated for all of 6 or 7 hours. With this stuff, they have been floating for 15 hours at the point of writing this review. The plastic tube inside the pump will not stay on though, so I had to fish that out and just use the pump with the bottle upside down. I assume it's a fault and the tube was supposed to be glued on or something... So not ideal and did create a bit of mess sorting it out. However it's water soluble so easy to clean up. Worth the money but a little messy so ensure you have time to deal with a few popped slimy balloons 😅

This works very well. The balloons treated with this stayed up for at least 4 or 5 days before I had to deflate ( burst with scisors). Well worth the money.

Wir haben das Hi-Float Gel für die Luftballon-Deko unserer Hochzeit bestellt. Bisher kann ich nur von den Testergebnissen reden, diese sind aber mehr als zufriedenstellend! Wir haben 2 Ballons ohne Gel und 3 Ballons mit Gel mit Helium gefüllt und geschaut, wie lange sie fliegen bleiben. Ergebnis: Die Ballons ohne Gel sind schon nach 8 Stunden runter gekommen, die Ballons mit dem Gel haben sage und schreibe 5 Tage gehalten. Natürlich waren sie an Tag 3 nicht mehr so schön, wie frisch aufgepustet, das Gel hat aber definitiv das gehalten, was es versprochen hat! Für unsere Hochzeit nächsten Monat können wir also sicher sein, dass unsere Deko nicht bereits beim Abendessen auf dem Tisch liegt und blöd aussieht. Wohl verdiente 5 Sterne 👍🏻

Impressionnant ! Je ne pensais pas que ce serait si puissant ! Nous avons fait quelques tests avant le jour J avec plusieurs doses, et le jour J bois avons mis la dos que nous pensions parfaite pour voir les ballons tomber le lendemain à 8h du matin. À 11h nous étions sur les tables avec les balais et fourchette accrochées pour les faire exploser car ils n'étaient pas descendus (mauvais calcul) 😀 Ça fonctionne très bien !

In preparation for my daughter's upcoming 5th birthday, I decided that I would test out this Ultra-Hifloat at our Super Bowl party. I followed the directions as included in the box, with two minor exceptions. First, the amount I put into the latex balloon was a little less than the guide recommends. In this case I uses 3/4 depression to fill an 11" balloon versus the recommended 1 full depression. And two, I did make sure to get a little into the neck of the balloon too (the instructions advise you not too). This last point did make it a little difficult to tie the balloon (slippery), but we managed just fine. You do have to inflate the balloons quite well to ensure adequate rise. I did have 1 that I under filled and the kids played with it all day, batting it around the house. That was until the Hifloat dried on the inside and the balloon started to rise! Now I would normally awake to a balloon graveyard the following morning (maybe even that night). The site of shriveled, pathetic balloons and wasted helium used to irritate me. Today I come down, and they are all still flying high, taught with helium, and show zero signs of weakening yet. This Ultra-Hifloat states it will make helium filled balloons float up to 25 times longer...I don't know if I will get 25 times longer, but so far we are on the right track. Amazing product. Will definitely use for my daughter's birthday coming up in a few months. EDIT: 2/12/12 Update - Simply Amazing. Exactly 1 week later, of 11 standard latex balloons inflated, 10 of them are still flying like the day were inflated. Midweek, the one that isn't, literally deflated before my eyes. I can't figure that one out. But the rest are still up and the kids are enjoying dragging them around the house. I will continue to update this review to give others an idea on how well this product continues to work. EDIT: 2/19/12 Update - Seriously! This stuff is now outlasting the Mylar balloons. 10 latex balloons still full and show no signs of losing helium. The 2 Mylars on the other hand are now about 1/2 full. Ultra Hi-Float is crazy good stuff! EDIT: 2/26/12 Update - OK. Whomever said this stuff doesn't work, doesn't know how to properly use it. While the 2 Mylar balloons dropped into the trash this week, I am staring at 10 full-filled latex helium balloons that are now starting to get on our nerves. They simply refuse to die. They've been up so long even the kids are bored with them. My wife asked if she could pop them so we could get rid of them. When has that ever happened with your latex balloons? I said no. I'll keep you posted. 3 weeks in and going strong. EDIT: 3/4/12 Update - Week 4 complete. The Hi-Float has started to crack and break off in some of the balloons leading to some rattling in them. As a result of the cracking, you can see that the lift to the balloons is starting to weaken and in fact 2 of the latex balloons are only flying at half height right now. I assume more will follow quickly this week. Still 8 balloons out of 11 flying at full height 4 weeks is pretty darn amazing. A little math - I've never had a untreated 9-11" latex balloon stay afloat for more than 12 hours at any one time, but it is of the general consensus that a traditional 11" latex balloon is estimated to remain afloat with helium for 18 to 24 hours. Ultra Hi-Float's guarantee of 25 times that time would equate to a staggering 18.75 - 24 days of rise. And here we are at 28 days, with roughly three quarters of my balloons still floating high! All I can say is it does work, and it does work well. EDIT: 3/11/12 Update - I can't believe I am still updating this review. I counted the balloons today that are still at full height and there are 7. We lost the 2 that were not quite as full last week plus 1 more. The balloons have been up so long at this point, I barely notice them anymore. Week five complete with an amazing 35 days of rise. EDIT: 3/18/12 Update - Well we are officially down to 3 balloons. But hey that's 3 latex balloons still floating 6 weeks after first inflation! I will say that the quality of the latex balloon must play a large part too, because we did our daughter's birthday this weekend and within the week we've already had 3 to 4 fall and I did the exact same protocol as I did in the original post. At this point though I'm so sick of balloons. I'm ready to pop them all just so I can stop editing this post. EDIT: 3/25/12 Update - Down to 2 balloons at 7 weeks. We've actually removed the remaining to to the basement since they seem so out of place. I mean they are from a Super Bowl Party. I think one of them is starting to falter so hopefully in one to 2 weeks, this review will be over. I never expected it to go this long. Late Additional Updates: EDIT: 4/1/12 Update - Down to 1 at 8 weeks. EDIT: Between 4/8 (9 weeks) and 4/15 (10 weeks) it seems the the last holdout fell. Today is 4/21 and I don't recall seeing floating earlier this week. I found it 3/4 to full will helium, resting on the basement floor. It was banished to the basement because we just couldn't stand to look at them anymore. Too funny. Who would have ever thought? So in closing 75% of the balloon made it 28 days. And a few held on for 8-10 weeks. Overall a truly remarkable product. But buyers beware. The effect generated by the Hi-Float is STRONGLY correlated to the quality of the balloons that you use. It can only help poorly made balloons so much. But it can drive you batty with good balloons as they never seem to want to die!
