I was trying to find a double sided magnet mount for my cell phone. I was finding that the sicker sided mounts were falling off of my jeep's dash (its a 25 year old YJ). Since I had metal surfaces on the jeep, particulary on the top of the center console, I thought this would be a good match. Me and my wife already use metal/magnet mounts on our other cars/cell phones with vent mounts. This is basically a double sided magnet inside of a rubber casing. I can move it easily but the connection to the mounted surface is stronger than the cell phone (what you want to happen, as the phone comes off the mount vs the mount coming off the surface). It holds my Nexus Pixel securely with no fuss. I would buy it again, no question.
