Petstages Purr Pillow Kitty Soothing Plush Cat Toy

I am going to call this fluffy purring blob with a face Clive. Initially Clive scared the hell out of my cat when we pressed the purr button but he soon got used to it and decided Clive was a new fun toy that he could catch, bite and kick at his leisure. He thoroughly enjoyed carrying Clive around in his mouth, plopping him down on the floor before preceding to kill Clive as well as he could. Clive is his new favourite toy and if I pick Clive up and stroke him, it makes my cat really jealous and immediately want attention 🤣 update: months later Clive has become my cats best friend. He sleeps with him every night and Clive is a great deterrent from feet nibbling which my cat is partial to at 3 in the morning. This purchase was 100% worth every penny, I would highly recommend. update Sept 2021: I have since bought 4 of these little guys and both my cats use them. I have not been able to find anything better. I used it with my little one to settle him in and he loved needing it. The purring works instantly to settle him down and help him get to sleep. I tried the toys with the heart beats but it was no where near as good as the purring toy and the way the purring toy is made helps the cats cuddle it etc. my only problem is that it is really hit and miss if you get a toy where the purring works and lasts two minutes. out of the 4 I bought, only 2 worked properly when they arrived, with the other 2 switching off after only 5 seconds. It's a shame because when these products work they are amazing and I can't find anything else like them anywhere

We bought this product for our cat that we adopted at 6 weeks old. This product itself is really cute, and while it may work for others, our cat has no interest in it. We kept it around, mostly in her crate/cage, which we left open and she would sleep in it whenever she felt like it. One day we had to take her to the vet and the Purr Pillow was inside - our vet took one loot at it and told us we were just making our cat feel stupid by having it there. Ehem.

I bought 4 of these as I have 4 cats. I gave one to each cat and to my delight they all loved it, even my 15 year old! They snuggled it, rolled all over it, shook it and threw it down the stairs and chased it. I have not seen them play so contentedly for quite a while, especially my 15 year old who seems to have a new lease of life. It's so lovely to see. It's a really good size and is very soft. It has a little velcro fastening at the back of its head so that you can replace the batteries. I highly recommend this cute toy! 😻😸

Doesn't work properly , lights don't always come on when tapped and once tapped lights go off after a certain time interval regardless of level of interaction . And it's not quiet it's quite rustly. It's a shame , good idea but didn't work. Too much money for something that doesn't work as advertised. Cat lost interest in less than 2 minutes

I bought this for my occasionally nervy rescue cat.(neutered 7yrs old.) He hates it. So play attacks. I guess because the purr is quite loud & synthetic, (more like an Amazon frog fast croak.) A young kitten may respond better after being removed from its mum for weaning comfort. It functions fine, hence the 3 stars. But not for adult cats really.

Really dissapointed with this as it had some great reviews. It is really cheaply made, the body of the cat is completely empty with no stuffing and the purring speaker is shoved inside the head in a velcro pouch that doesn't even close properly because the label is sewn over the top. The material is quite soft which my cat does like. It's a push mechanism to trigger the sound which i have to do myself, my cat wouldn't be able to do this on her own accord so it seems a bit pointless and the sound is pretty poor quality. It is not thick or warm as there's no stuffing. I don't know how it can be called a pillow at all tbh, it's more like an empty sock puppet. Overall it's not completely terrible and my cat doesn't hate it (she doesn't love it though either) but for the price it's not at all worth it and i would not recommend or purchase again

My cat recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I'm an adult who suffers with anxiety. I bought this for myself. It is soothing and helps me to fall asleep more easily, so a good anxiety relief toy for humans too. Happy customer :)

Miren, el peluche es muy bonito, en efecto se apachurra, prende unos dos minutos y se apaga solo. Lo compré para ver si animaba a una de mis gatitas que andaba enferma pero lo odiaron todos los gatos, se encuentran muy indignados que esa cosa plana y morada ronroneé sin ser un gato y le pegan y le huyen. Me imagino que como son gatos adultos no sienten ese confort con ronroneo artificial, quizá para gatitos funcione bien. No lo califico mal porque el peluche está bonito y se ve resistente, no es su culpa que mis gatos sean payasos.

My adopted cat was shocked by the low sound created and did not want to get close to the toy. So I reckon that the product doesn't work 100% on every cat.

ich habe diese katze nicht für ein tier gekauft sondern für mich da ich auf der suche nach einer schnurrenden (plüsch) katze war. das schnurren klingt sehr realistisch es war nur etwas laut, ich habe den lautsprecher aber einfach abgeklebt. die katze ist sehr gut verarbeitet stinkt und fusselt nicht. ich bin sehr froh. für kinder ist es nichts, da gibt es einen warnhinweis.

My kitten is from an outdoor wild cat litter. Transition to home was done quickly due to the situation and not having enough time to do it as I wish I could’ve. I crate train my kitten to have him build confidence and his first night was awfull. Him being used to be out in an outdoor grange spending his day between wood logs and the other kittens of his litter, he was terrified of being indoor. The noises, the different smells, the lights, vibrations of the floor, everything. The poor one spent his night crying and meowing. I needed something to soothe him. I started looking only for soothing kitten must haves/toys/aids and found this toy. The texture and plush on the head part is perfect as the rest is empty. The purring sound really mimics a real cat purring sound. I was afraid it would sound really fake but no! His first day home after his first terrible night, we received it as I had bought it during the night, being unable to sleep and to sooth the poor kitten as quick as possible. And wow! It helped him acclymatizing and gaining confidence. It helps him get to sleep mode and to sleep whenever night times comes. It soothes him and able him to calm his terrified fazes. Perfect for crate training (I have my kitten in a large dog crate with a litter, toys, small cat tree and a blankie) and for having them getting used to new environment because he was a forest kitten. Our second night together was way better! I was only woked up arround 5:30 am instead of consistent cryings all night having me to not sleep at all. He started feeling way more confident indoor today, walking with less fear arround and almost none anymore. He would look at walls and ceillings being completely terrified before. If you are doubting on getting this, just get it, this is the best purchase I did for my new little fur one💛
