/ KatDen Cat Kennel Mattress & Liner

These are great. They fit the Mr Snugs/Katden one piece plastic cat shelters nice and snugly. They provide a good degree of padding and do a good job of dealing with the condensation between the Katden and the inner surface of the liner. I get what people are saying about a lack of padding on the back surface, but I think it would be difficult to get it in the shelter if it was padded on this surface, as it has to be rolled up and pushed through the entrance hole to get it in. I'm sure a bit of insulative material could be cut to shape and put in on the back wall before the liner goes in if it proves to be a problem. My wife and I bought two shelters to go in the catio attached to the back of our house and a liner for each one. I was feeling guilty that I haven't got round to replacing the caged roof of the catio with a twin walled polycarbonate one yet. My cats are, sadly, indoor cats and they love their catio so much that they go out in all weathers and often used to come in drenched on wet days. We have a cat flap between the catio and the house, so they can come and go as they please, but the shelters allow them to remain in the fresh air in inclement weather without getting wet and these liners mean that they stay warm and comfy when it's cold and miserable!

Despite being a bit pricey, it’s good quality, fits well within the cat house, its thick with nice padding, nice paw design, comfortable.

This was bought to fit inside the Mr Snugs Cat Den, which it does perfectly. The Den is kept outside on the decking, and the cat told me he wanted something warmer for the winter. I’m sure this will keep him cosy. It has a thick insulated layer on the outside, which is pliable; yet stiff enough to maintain the arch shape of the liner. The mattress provides a cosy layer but I have also added the self-heating fleece mat (bought with the Cat Den), which has been hand-washed once and came up like new. And it really does work, as it felt very warm when he came out for his food. The whole arrangement still gives the cat plenty of room, and he is quite a large cat. As I write this, he is in residence.

Fits really snuggly in the cat kennel. However the back of it not padded so it let it down a bit and the price is a bit expensive. Cat seems to love it.

Good quality and fits very well in the KatDen. Snug fit and stays in place. Oddly, the back doesn't have any padding, perhaps something to do with having to roll it up to get it through the front opening. Nonetheless this isn't a problem as we put some bubblewrap between the liner and the kennel back. The thickness of the padding does reduce the space inside slightly on the sides but the benefits must outweigh the cons... to a cat this must make the kennel a comfortable place to be. If you have a KatDen or Mr Snugs cat kennel then you do really need one of these (or so our cat tells us...).

Fits the den perfectly and the cat loves it, what more could I ask? Nice and thick except for back panel, well made. Bottom cushion is separate and can be removed for washing.

Sent the wrong colour - bright red not neutral and pretty poorly finished off - couldn’t be bothered to send it back but wouldn’t buy again. Having said that - it does fit well inside the Katden and appears to insulate it well and one cat has gone in it already - which slightly redeems it.

Excellent product- keeping outdoor cat lovely and warm. Perfect.
