Cleared my ear quicker than expected
I had a blocked ear due to a build-up of earwax, which started right after I got out of the shower. My right ear felt completely clogged all day. I initially tried almond oil, but I wanted something that would work a bit faster, so I decided to try this product. As soon as it arrived, I tilted my head and put 3 to 4 drops of the sodium bicarbonate solution into my ear, then lay down for about 30 minutes. Around 10 minutes after getting up, my ear suddenly cleared. I actually heard a small โpop,โ and my hearing gradually returned. It does still feel slightly blocked for a few seconds every now and then, but I think thatโs just because I need to continue using it for the full effect. It might not work instantly for everyone, but it worked pretty quickly for me!

Simple, effective
My 4yo has smaller than average ear canals with lots of wax. It builds up very quickly and this does the job of getting it out very quickly with no irritation.

Good, but beware of expiry several weeks after opening if you need to use it for longer than a month.
I have severe wax buildup in my left ear due to it's odd shape (wax doesn't naturally make it's way out towards the outer part of my left ear). I periodically receive microsuction (not the same as syringing) to remove hardened wax. I therefore tend to get to a stage regularly where I need to use drops (although according to one ENT doctor I have seen, it is not recommended to use drops regularly on a long term basis, another recommended I use a dose once a week to "maintain" the wax levels). Tried these in comparison to Olive Oil drops (have used sodium bicarb from Care+ before). What I've found that using these in combination with olive oil (some kind of rotation) actually works quite efficiently for me (have seen many ENT doctors in my lifetime). It's not a be-all and end-all solution, but it certainly was different to just using one on it's own. Recommend to just have a play around. Good: - Can have a "fizzing" effect when used which at least makes you think it's doing something (and it generally does do at least something). Downside: - Not meant to continue using after a handful of weeks after opening (apparently Sodium Bicarb becomes unstable after not so much time). I kept mine in the fridge to help preserve them for longer (a tip recommended to me by one of my ENT doctors). Be sure to bring them to room temperature before use though (research has shown that the warmer the temperature, the more effective ear drops can be - have a search on the internet for this). Olive oil drops on the other hand have no such expiry after opening.

It dissolved grease!โ
Itโll take some time despite its excellent use!โ I still need ear wash!! Thatโs not the fault if the product!โ The water oil based is ideal! The sodium dissolved the grease supremely well!โ
