Need to have multiple sizes availab
I bought multiple sizes auto cut tubing cutters for various size pipes. I would buy multiple sizes of reamers as well.Works fine on copper and plastic but not easy when pipes are close to a wall.

Perfect for DIY
A nice tool for someone that needs to do a little plumbing on occasion. It beats a file or sandpaper for medium sized DIY jobs. It does take a little practice to get a decent finish with out chatter. But once you figure it out it's not hard.

Works like a charm
I'm cursed with a bit of perfectionism, and it's always annoyed me that nearly all pvc cutters put a slant on the end of every cut, so I cut pvc with a copper pipe cutter. Makes a perfectly square edge, but leaves a lot of clean-up to do on the ID and OD. This little chamfer tool speeds that way up and does a fine job of it.

Copper pipes it works OKAY. 1/2" diameter copper is annoying to use because of the size difference. It's really only a good worker when it's 1" copper, because even 3/4" is a bit of a hassle to use it on
