It only lasted for two 3 months that’s the only complaint I have. But it work fine while it was working and was easy to installed

Purchased December of 2022. Now it's November of 2023 and my unit will not hold a charge. Worked great for the first few months. Now it's useless and I'm back to batteries. Update. So I guess I love missory. I decided to give this another try. Purchased another one in March of 2024 and it didn't even make it to 2025. Same issue as before. Will not hold a charge. I do not recommend and will not purchase another. First one lasted 11 months, second one only 7 months. It was great until it wasn't. If you want a temporary break from changing batteries this go for it. This will not last long.

This solar panel has provided power to my blink doorbell even in a low sunshine area. Would recommend to others

Good idea but not ideal for most homes. I have a ranch style 1 level home with a front porch overhang that faces south. The solar panels only catch the afternoon to evening sun due to the design of my home. Other homes in my family have a small hall like entry for their front door and this would not work for them. The product comes with different mounting plates for the blink door bell so watch the fit. Otherwise the design worked for my application, and design of my home. I’d recommend evaluating the sun and how many hours the area you want it to be mounded will be able to soak up the sun. Winter update: I’ve been doing yard work among other things causing dusty environment. This covered the solar panels enough that it quit working. After cleaning it and a couple of days it’s back to full charge. Keep it clean and you shouldn’t have any issues, this far.

So far I've had it up for about 2 weeks and it's working great! My door is in direct sun all day and the heat in the summer was killing any batteries I tired in about a week or less! This hasn't died once and actually shows full battery in the app too, no batteries I tried ever showed full battery before and I was seriously considering getting a different door cam altogether til I found this! Seems sturdy and not a bad price vs expensive batteries I had to constantly change!

It looks good and work rarely. The camera had very low power to the point it wouldn't be on some days. My blink camera would go offline often. People couldn't ring the doorbell because of the low battery. It was supposed to provide power all the time so I don't have to change batteries but it was more trouble than batteries. I ended up goin back to batteries. I had the solar charger for 7 months so I gave it a chance but didn't work very well.

I purchased this solar charger in 2023 and had no issues until it stopped working after about 2½ years. It was well worth the price and saved us money on batteries. I would definitely purchase it again.

Where I placed it only catches the afternoon sunlight for less than five hours. The item works well so far. 👍🏼 The manufacturer should think of adding the no-drill option. I used Alien tape to attach it in place.
