Really does the job of filling but it does require a lot of care and skill (and therefore practice) to ensure it looks professional. There are instructions online if you search. It takes laminate paint to ensure a match if you are using it to repair kitchen cabinets as I was (saving many thousands in the process).

Having accidentally chipped my kitchen worktop with a knife whilst chopping, I had a quick look online and came across this product. Once it was delivered the next day, I got to work on trying to match the right colour to my worktop. It was a bit fiddly trying to get it to actually "stick" into the chip, but after heating up the product slightly and using my finger to push it into the chip I used the scraper that was provided and worked the product in til it was smooth. It has worked a treat in filling/covering up the chip (see before and after picture) but it is slightly sticky as the product is soft wax. I'm hoping it won't be disturbed when wiping down the worktop, but only time will tell, hence the 4 stars.

Really good, worked well once you get the hang of it. Need to work it quickly while it’s still malleable and in a putty state.

Useful for small repairs only

They are quite hard to work with hands and they need to me well work before applying it, but I’d does a great job and what it says on the tin

Packaging - The wax sticks came in a plastic blister pack, it’s green credentials therefore are not ideal. Is there an alternative, I’m not sure. Product quality - The wax sticks are excellent, you can you use them individually or blend two or more colours together for a perfect match. My use case - I had some small scratches on the plinths of my dark grey gloss kitchen units. One of the wax sticks was a perfect match, so I didn’t need to blend them. I did however warm a small slither of the wax with a hairdryer and then used the applicator that comes in the pack to smooth the wax into the scratch. I then gently polished it with a soft cloth. Job done. Overall opinion - Excellent; just a shame about the plastic packaging.
