Could the bulb be replaced with a usb port to charge a power bank?** A: Don’t think so, model shop owner tells me just an led. Went up this road myself. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great educational tool for environmental management exam *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 July 2025* We used this to teach a child how to build a turbine. In Environmental management gcse she struggle with the books on this subject but being able to make one from scratch and see it function in real life worked a treat. The penny dropped and luckily she was asked the questions on the exam about turbines and smashed it. Great value for money, easy to build, and fun to watch it work. Pretty quiet and functions as it should. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fun challenge *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 November 2023* I got this as a gift for a friend's child, who is 8. They told me they found it quite challenging to put this together, but they had some help from their Mum and they managed to work it out. It made for a really good conversation between them about sustainable energy, and it was a fun bonding experience for them. I saw the final result once constructed and it's really cool. It's built well and has good quality to it. It was a really good gift I think, as my friend and her child really enjoyed putting it together and it was a nice educational activity too. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The child had fun building *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 July 2025* Best toy of my child, very pleased ## Frequently Bought Together - 4M 403378 Build Your Own Wind Turbine - 4M 403425 Green Hybrid Solar Power Water Pump Science Kit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/48806079-4m-403378-build-your-own-wind-turbine](https://www.desertcart.is/products/48806079-4m-403378-build-your-own-wind-turbine) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
