Is this rated 3 ton per pair or per stand? Pro lift brand is per pair. So half the ton on each stand.

We don’t play on words, the rated capacity of this double locking jack stand is 3 ton PER STAND.

Is the torin at43002ab "black" jack stand the same as torin big red at43002a jack stand in quality and performance ?

There is kinda exterior finish material difference between those two.

Are these able to be extended far enough to hold up a 2008 nissan titan kingcab pickup when it's jacked up?

No probably not. I haven’t found a truck, Jeep or suv that this will fit without song something stupid. That’s before jacking the vehicle up. Your best bet is finding a extended 3 ton jack or simply moving up to a 6 ton for the added length.
