EXCELLENT top coat. I keeps my nails looking nice for almost as long as gel but without damaging my nails. I'll upload a picture so you can see my nails after five days of washing dishes and doing normal life. You can see the nail regrowth near the quick and you can see that the nails did not chip at all. The trick is to paint a layer of this top coat between each layer of your preferred color and then do two topcoats after you're satisfied with how it all looks. Be sure and let it dry a few minutes between coats. It takes 2-5 minutes per coat. I use Beetles nail polish (NOT GEL) and it works super well. I've never found nail polish as good as this ever. Best of all? Acetone will take it off without a problem and my nails do not get damaged like they used to from gel polish. I don't waste ridiculous amounts of time trying to get this stuff off like I used to have to do with gel. Essie is the BEST!

I love this top coat so much it makes my nails last sooooo long. I use nail stickers vs polish and then put this top coat over and they last 2 weeks at least. It drys so quicks an it’s super shiny. It works well with cheap polishes too makes them last a long time. I’m in my 3rd bottle and I’ll never buy anything else.

I am a longtime fan of Essie nail polishes and strengtheners. I have tried so many other nail products, but Essie is my favorite by far. The products are vegan, and do not contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde. This top coat sets quickly, is nice and shiny, and stays on for over a week without chipping or cracking. I now buy my own Essie products and taking them to the salon and have my manicurist use these instead of what the salon carries. I find that my nails are much healthier and stronger when I use Essie products, and my manicurist gives me a discount for bringing my own products. Honestly I woukd happily pay full price for the manicure even with buying my own base coat, polish, and too coat, but she insists on the discount.

This top coat is great. Protects nail and makes your manicure last longer.

This is the Essie Nail Care, Salon-Quality Longwear Top Coat, 8-Free Vegan, Stay Longer, 0.46 fl oz. This is an excellent clear gloss top coat. This top coat is intended to be worn over nail polish. I found that using a couple of coats of this top coat over top of my manicure extended it for an extra week or so before it chipped or needed to be redone. I am a professional nail technician and Essie is a pretty good drugstore brand. This top coat is easy to apply and has a rather standard yet nice brush. The top coat does not yellow or cause any peeling or lifting of the nail polish underneath it. It does manage to keep a shine for a few days and can be retouched quite easily. This top coat removes easily with acetone or non acetone nail polish remover. This is an essential part of a manicure especially if you were using a dark color to ensure that the nail polish does not come off or streak anything it rubs against and also to seal the nail polish and color and to extend a manicure chip-free and perfect look a few days longer. I would definitely recommend this vegan great quality top coat.

This was a repurchase after years of using Essie’s top coat. I am disappointed with this product. It started peeling basically immediately after application. Not sure if they have reformulated or if I got a bad batch, but this is not the same quality I expected from Essie.

Haven’t tried it, but it says you so I guess it’s good. It’s just really tiny for some reason.
